I am a namibian and I am here to tell you that democracy is not around us, there is no free and fair elections here. 2 days extend but not to everyone who did not cast their votes. The ecn seems to be operating in favor of one political party. They chose some towns only, not the whole country, and it's obviously every town there's people who didn't get a chance to cast their votes. On the other hand, there were voter's cards that were discovered within the ecn. There are just too many contradictions in this election.
Yes SWAPO knew that he could have lost the votes years back and still continuing with corrupt official to win votes, No! Some we (developed ) don't want SWAPO.
I'm a Zimbabwean and am very disappointed that Namibians did not heed out warnings not to accept the company which printed the ballot papers, secondly we warned you to deny Zanupf involvement in your elections. All this you ignored. Believe me the extension is giving Chigumba and Zanupf to manipulate your results in favour of their friend. If you don't have fresh elections you will be doomed 😊
Let me see: there was a controversial printing decision, then there was a shortage of ballot papers, and now there is an extension in certain specific areas. So it seems ballot papers were withheld from non-Swapo areas to be used in Swapo areas during the extension period. How else can there be ballot papers for an extension while there was a shortage during the actual voting period?
Guys in Zimbabwe this is a common play. Not enough ballots where incumbent is weak or delayed opening. No clear tracking of results. If you don’t riot like our brothers and sisters in Mozambique and Kenya you’re going to suffer in silence like the docile people of Zimbabwe
😂😂😂😂No vayolensi in Namibia. Hiccups are there, but not in the extent of what you assume. A lot of opposition involvement is not being told and I wonder why. Opposition parties went outside the country to watch the printing and how many booklets to be printed, they were all at the airport when the consignment arrived and they recount, voting starts and ends in the watch of party representatives who also count the number of people voting. They all count and sign the documents that bares the total votes. It's not something new that for presidential election you vote anywhere you're. There were no problems in the past as centres had more ballots than the registered voters. This time only that number of registered voters was given per centre. Papers got finished coz we voted wherever we wanted, people complained, Friday was given, just yesterday opposition parties complained about students writing exams and workers who might not get leave off, Saturday was added, now we are here with ZANU PF stories 😢😢😢. Population of 3M and 16 candidates😂😂😂
@ Brother I hope you’re right, but I also hope you realize, the way you cook a frog is you turn up the water temperature 1 degree at a time, by the time the water is boiling the frog is finished. Zimbabweans were peaceful for a very long time until we allowed dictatorship to control all institutions, now there’s no peaceful protest, no freedom of speech. You can speak freely but you won’t be free after you speak. These freedoms are lost beginning with theft at the ballot box. If you protest in Zimbabwe over corruption or misgovernence the police and soldiers will shoot and kill you. It’s because we remained docile and silent for decades while they stole our vote.
@msi4063 I hear you, it's easy to destroy peace and difficult to build it. My point is, opposition is part of the mess going on now, but are playing the "it wasn't me" game. Some of them won local authority elections during the previous election, meaning that, they are in charge of towns, electricity went off in the cities they are in charge of and still blame ZANU PF😭🙆🏼♀️C'mon🤣
@@Day537 opposition won the councils but the money is controlled by central govt (ZANU). They’ll refuse to fund operations and let people go without water, refuse collection and decent roads to teach people from those places not to vote against ZANU. They have unlimited funds to buy ministers cars and pay for foreign trips but no basic services needed in a modern city work. Please be very careful what you wish for.
We can't play finals for three days guys this is vry vry wrong decision taken by ECN because in tht way we swapo also it will be difficult for us to understand to be out of power unless you are looking for war again in Namibia
Im a Namibian in here to say elections are not faily because where DD u see finials payed for three days if SWAPO worn live them to rule if thy loose also must say no thy ddnt loose thn thy will remain in power until after five years again because they worn alrdy
The only peaceful solution after the whole fiasco the incompetent ECN has created is to pray for the Government of National Unity. It will be in the best interest of all Namibians. Let them work together and hold each other accountable, we have been trying as citizens, but have failed. As the saying goes, bird's of the same feathers flock together, they might understand each other as Politicians.

Its better if we boycott this election. Swapo already working with zanupf. This is not free and fair.😢

@@Daniel-ut9kb very sad indeed. Prayers to you Namibia
The fuckup is by design. No extension along the coast, with Walvis Bay an IPC stronghold.
