In all honesty, I could buy it because she never fights them? You say Rambo Mary Jane, but I always thought of it as Metal Gear Watson. She takes them out stealthily (the hunters). I can buy using a taser to knock out unaware people (the parts when you run and gun at people are unrealistic, but then again, you're not supposed to do that. You're supposed to be stealthy). And as for the symbiotes. Well, on one hand, she always had the drop on them, and on the other, she has a literal sound gun. The very thing they are weak to. And considering it takes one or two headshots to take one of them down (on Spectacular difficulty, mind you), I let it slide, because there wasn't actually anything wrong I saw. And considering the big brute she fights at the ladder kills you in two hits, I think it's fair. In my opinion she simply got lucky that those barrels are there. There's nothing wrong with luck, it just means that the game recognises that she could not have won that encounter if there were no barrels. The only time when I call bs is the Hunter section at the house. I was okay with the zoo, because everyone is so spread out from each other, and there is so much cover and other random stuff between everyone that it makes sense that she could move around stealthily. Here, everyone is all huddled up, and so close to eachother, so Metal Gear Watson is kinda done.@@ultamatejoker8282

I’m always down for new interpretations of existing characters as long as they’re done right. No Race swaps or gender bending. Just take the core of the existing character and mix it up a bit.

I’m always a sucker for learning about new characters I’ve never seen before, and some are even better than the original source material at times. Phin Mason was a better Tinkerer than what we got in Homecoming is my example and my favourite.

It's about getting the point of the character right. MJ can be a model or an actress the point is that she has a public persona built around her exceptional beauty and has a flirty personality to mask her pain a journalist doesn't achieve that. As for Kraven at no point should he be stronger than spidey specifically because the point of the character is that he sees spidey as the ultimate prey because spidey is more powerful than he is. Because of that factor he has to use traps, poison, special weapons etc. To fight spidey if he can physically overpower spidey there is no point for the hunt in the first place. There is a difference between creative changes to adapt things to a different medium vs fundamentally making a different character than the original but giving them the same name. This Kraven is almost as bad as dead pool in X-Men origins.

It's up to other people if they want to see comic accuracy as a problem or not, but that game strayed further than any other piece of media that gets bashed for it.
@@ultamatejoker8282 exactly when it the adaptation argument has gotten quite silly Japan gets exaclty how this works with keeping anime faithful to the manga. I get it that with live action stuff it will be different but in that case I suggest the LOTR approach keep it upwards of 80% accurate to the original more important than even plot is to keep characters their personality and beliefs in tact. Spectacular Spiderman isn't strictly comic accurate but in terms of character work it can be quite faithful to who each of the villains are as people and that's what matters.
Ironically. Sam Raimi's version of Venom is way more comic accurate than the last movies or games with him have been. ANd I agree that he should just be bigger than Peter, Venom doesn't need to be the size of the Hulk.
Insomniac really made a lot of wild changes in Spider-Man 2 and definitely anyone but tourists would have picked up on this. Kraven shouldn't be stronger than Spidy, just like you said, and I think they missed the point. As a hunter, you use traps and ranged weapons to hunt their target, so he's supposed to be physically weaker, but uses enhancements and traps to try and get the win.

Ultra cope. The time code literally leads you to a montage of Peter getting hit or pinned to a wall by a normal human. No footage of Peter beating her exists other than a DLC boss fight that had no winner due to it being interrupted.
Honestly, I feel like people are kind of tripping with Lois Jane. Like, yes, she's not comic-accurate at all, but it's not that big of a deal, since part of the first game's arc was her learning to less bitchy, and for Peter to trust her more (even if she gets into trouble aal the time). From a narrative point, you could probably assume that she would probably become more heroic over a span of 8 years due to being Sper-Man's girlfriend, and the game mentioning a few times she played a supporting role to him back in the day. As for her taking down Hunters, it's gonna be a controversial take, but it makes sense to me. She had the training, so she knows some moves. But the reason why it makes sense to me is because she never actually fights any of them. She just tases them with taser from behind. She takes them out stealthily, and most of the time they're separated. same for the symbiotes, as she literally has a gun that shoots the one thing in this game that they're weak to (because they aren't weak to fire in this game). + they aren't exactly the brightest creatures in the game, and MJ, apart from the large brute, always had the drop on them. The only sequence where I feel like it didn't make as much sense that she could take them all out is when they were at the house. Personally, it would have made more sense if they turned that into a full stealth section where you only have to distract people to get past them. Due to the proximity of the Hunters to each other, it didn't make much sense she could take them out stealthily without getting spotted. Venom wasn't handled good due to how late in the game he was introduced, and because he was more of a plot device than a real character; He simply didn't have the time to show himself as a character. (Btw, unlike what the video tells you, Eddie Brock DOES exist in this game + he works at the Daily Bugle. He was referenced in the first game when he wrote a little message to Peter on his farewell card, when Peter quit the Daily Bugle. Because yes, he DID work at the Daily Bugle in this universe, before he quit, because Jameson put out a news article saying that Peter had killed some policemen (he was framed). As a matter of fact, this game has a side-mission where you get to see firsthand how Peter and Jameson met. It does suck a little that they didn't at least make him show up during MJ's Daily Bugle arc, as they would probably know eachother. Idk, wasted opportunity). But since there will be either a Venom spin-off game, or a DLC with him (altough, I think it'll be a spin-off game), we'll get to see more of Venom, since there is probably still a little bit of the symbiote left inside of Harry. Who knows, maybe Eddie Brock gets in contact with it, and we have the proper origin for Venom. About Black Cat, UltaMatE JOker was complaining his ass off about her being bisexual, completely forgetting that we nevr see this 'girlfriend' of hers. He mentions how odd it is she's doing all of this, just to see her girlfriend in Paris, all the while igonoring that very point he makes, and not thinking 'Does she actually have a girlfiend?' This Black Cat has a history of lying, and creating sobstories to get what she wants, even leading Peter to believe she has a child, all with a sad face. MJ mentions that she shouldn't trust a word coming out of her mouth, yet Miles is naïve, and hopeful, which is why she most likely managed to make him believe it. But then again, it could be true. But her history points to it not being true. Point is, guilty until proven innocent, therefore, all his complaining about her being Bi was unwarranted, so yeah, jokes on you, UltaMatE JOker. Also, he talks about how Kraven overpowered Peter, but he didn't. He just had better timing than Peter in ONE scene. Then he gets his ass whooped by Peter, even after he figures out the Black Suit's weakness, then he dies later on in the story. It's like the scene in the comics, when a bucnh of Avengers were trying to catch Spidey, and take this thing he had in a should bag with him. Everyone, from Captain Marvel to Black Panther got outclassed, out-smarted by Spidey (this was all one right after the other). Until Hawkeye shoots a special arrow at Spidey. Due to his reflexes and Spidey-Sense, he instinctively catches it easily without thinking, or even looking at it. That's when the arrow explodes, as it was a stun-bomb, and Hawkeye was planning on Spider-Man catching it. He used spidey's reflexes against him. That split-second was enough for him to be caught off-guard. This is what Kraven also does in the scene when he stabs Peter. As you can see, it was a simultaneous motion of punching and stabbing. Peter's attention was on the caught punch, as it' when he probably realises "Damn, I should have put more power into my punch". This is something we've seen before with Insomniac's Spider-Man. Evertime he misjudges how much strength he needs to put in a punch, there's the execution, then the realisation, but in that same moment, he then gets punched or hit by the recipient. We saw it with Shocker, and others. In this case, Kraven used the split-second to stab him, because he knew Spider-Man's attention would be drawn to it, except, it was a simultaneous movement, therefore Peter wouldn't have time to process what just happened fast enough to realise that Kraven had sneakily stabbed him. OR Peter's Spidey-Sense sensed that Kraven was about to stab him(or actually hit him using his right hand, therefore he didn't know that Kraven was holding a knife.) (while he was still spinning. Therefore his back was turned towards Kraven). Of course, most people don't fight Mutates with Pre-cognitive abilities, so his opponent shouldn't expect a simultaneous punch and block manoeuvre by Spider-Man. So without looking he places his hand on Kraven's wrist to block the stab, and goes to punch Kraven (thinking he'd catch him off-guard). To his surprise, Kraven has much faster reflexes than he thought, and a better ability to predict someone's moves, so he catches Spidey's punch. This catches Spider-Man off-guard, makes his grip on Kraven's wrist become loose enough for him to pull through with the stab. A split second of confusion, and the fact that he was already doing the stabbing motion caused it all to work. Kraven used Spidey's reflexes against him. As for Silver Sable, the very first time, when he shot his webs, and she used them against him, I think it's a matter of stupidity from Peter, but also not expecting her to quickly adapt. The second time, when he gets slammed against that door.. Well yeah, that was dumb, idk what happened there. The one thing I do want to say is that it was probably a matter of him wanting to talk, therefore not defending himself, since it wasn't a hard slam anyway. He probably saw it coming, and simply didn't react on purpose, since he wanted to talk. And the third time, in the Silver Lining DLC... Well, he was kicking her ass, so there is nothing to say about that. They fought, Spidey was wooping her ass, then she bounced.

Look, I made all of this stuff based on simple analysis of the scenes, how they've characterised the characters in this universe, and real-life martial arts experience. I already said I agreed that Venom was badly handled in this game, and simply gave some extra thoughts on why, from not being Eddie Brock, he wasn't made into a good character in this game. He's barely a character here. And I gave my theories on the future of the character. If you say my stuff about MJ is bs, I can accept that. After all, I knew it was gonna be tough take, and I was simply giving my own analysis. I wasn't trying to complain. But all the stuff with the hunters was drawn from my own experience in Martial Arts, therefore I could give SOME thought over what is possible, and what isn't. Same for that long ass bit about Kraven stabbing Peter. The reason it was so long is because the concept I explained is a real thing irl I was taught, therefore, I didn't just pull it out of my armpit. I do it all the time in real-life + I analysed this version of Spider-Man's track record. I understand that Kraven as a character doesn't beat Spider-Man (you already explained it well). I was just explaining why he did in THIS universe. Because it isn't the same. Not the same Spidey, not the same Kraven. Should it have happened? No. But within the rules they created in this universe, what I explained makes sense. I wasn't trying to say "but nooo, Kraven so cool, you so wrong". I know you're right about how these characters SHOULD be characterised, but you just didn't analyse that scene right, that's all. Actually, they didn't make Black Cat bisexual because of any comic. In an actual interview they stated her way seducing Peter and then pulling a run away is something they thought a bisexual woman would do. Use a man and then get with a woman. Despite all their progressive BS, they actually were offensive to bisexual women with that choice. Another thing they changed was they removed Venom's weaken to extreme heat. Their excuse for that was him having like 5 weakness and they decided sound was enough. Even though intense sound and heat were his only 2 weaknesses. Which she excuses because of what happened last night. But we all know she was planning to do that before hand. Seriously, they've decided no matter what she does, she can't be wrong. That's what it is at this point. It's like what they did with Phin in the Miles game. She was clearly the bad guy, was in the wrong for so much. But was claiming it was all on Miles, even her trying to kill him. And what's worst, the way Miles reacts to her calling him a liar suggests he feels that way, which is BS.

The leaked footage showed mystique talking about her romance with her wife and I know the first chick isn't destiny. I've said for a while Bi characters these days are just gay characters without breaking canon Mystique has had 1 lesbian lover and atleast 3 male ones and she hasn't been faithful to destiny over the decades either she is also incredibly cold to everyone but destiny, rogue and a few others. So having her be all open about her romance in that footage tells me they want to pander by changing her personality she's not a bleeding heart type. Insomniac is by far the best Spider Man ever. Also just because any form of media deviates from the comics doesn't make them bad. It's part of Insomniac and Marvel contract where Insomniac was told to put their own spin on it as much as possible. 14:21 Web of Shadows great but not better then any of Insomniac Spider Man games. Insomniac Spider Man games are the best Marvel games ever and nothing can top them. Insomniac is considered the king of Marvel games. Web of Shadows is 4th best Spider Man game.
I'd ask if you have any reasons or points for what you just said, but I already know that you don't have any as you copy and pasted your opinion like the people I mocked in this video. In Web of shadows, Mary Jane doesn't illogicaly go solo Rambo and takes out a bunch of mercaneries and symbiotes. In Web of shadows, Peter doesn't lose every 1 on 1 fight against a main character. I never said anything about caring about comic accuracy in terms of it being a measurement of quality but it's a fact that Insomniac Spiderman 2 strayed further than other stories that got bashed for its comic accuracy like Spiderman 3 and various DC projects like BvS.

It only worked for Spider Man 2 because they were able to have a compelling story considering that it's 20 hours long (although only the third act was rushed, it could have been 5 hours longer) while Spider Man 3 and BVS didn't work because not only the writing wasn't good but also the idea of having miscastsnas well and their villains (except Sandman) weren't all that interesting. In Marvel's Spider Man 2, Peter did win many battles too like be beated Lizard, Kraven, Scream and Wraith. He did more fight for Venom then Miles ever did. He beated Venom not Miles. There were times when not staying 100% true to the comics actually worked like No Way Home, TMNT Mutant Mayhem, Namor from Black Panther Wakanda Forever, etc

I literally showed him being choked out by Scream at the ending cutscene, Peter didn't die to her only because she broke free from the symbiote herself somehow, Peter beating Venom was not a 1v1 win, your other arguments are poor but Peter not winning a 1v1 fight is a fact unless you want to count nameless thugs. In all honesty, I could buy it because she never fights them? You say Rambo Mary Jane, but I always thought of it as Metal Gear Watson. She takes them out stealthily (the hunters). I can buy using a taser to knock out unaware people (the parts when you run and gun at people are unrealistic, but then again, you're not supposed to do that. You're supposed to be stealthy). And as for the symbiotes. Well, on one hand, she always had the drop on them, and on the other, she has a literal sound gun. The very thing they are weak to. And considering it takes one or two headshots to take one of them down (on Spectacular difficulty, mind you), I let it slide, because there wasn't actually anything wrong I saw. And considering the big brute she fights at the ladder kills you in two hits, I think it's fair. In my opinion she simply got lucky that those barrels are there. There's nothing wrong with luck, it just means that the game recognises that she could not have won that encounter if there were no barrels.
The only time when I call bs is the Hunter section at the house. I was okay with the zoo, because everyone is so spread out from each other, and there is so much cover and other random stuff between everyone that it makes sense that she could move around stealthily. Here, everyone is all huddled up, and so close to eachother, so Metal Gear Watson is kinda done.@@ultamatejoker8282

Yeah, it's the hypocrisy I've seen in many that frustrates me.
It's about getting the point of the character right. MJ can be a model or an actress the point is that she has a public persona built around her exceptional beauty and has a flirty personality to mask her pain a journalist doesn't achieve that. As for Kraven at no point should he be stronger than spidey specifically because the point of the character is that he sees spidey as the ultimate prey because spidey is more powerful than he is. Because of that factor he has to use traps, poison, special weapons etc. To fight spidey if he can physically overpower spidey there is no point for the hunt in the first place. There is a difference between creative changes to adapt things to a different medium vs fundamentally making a different character than the original but giving them the same name. This Kraven is almost as bad as dead pool in X-Men origins.

@@ultamatejoker8282 exactly when it the adaptation argument has gotten quite silly Japan gets exaclty how this works with keeping anime faithful to the manga. I get it that with live action stuff it will be different but in that case I suggest the LOTR approach keep it upwards of 80% accurate to the original more important than even plot is to keep characters their personality and beliefs in tact. Spectacular Spiderman isn't strictly comic accurate but in terms of character work it can be quite faithful to who each of the villains are as people and that's what matters.

Ironically. Sam Raimi's version of Venom is way more comic accurate than the last movies or games with him have been. ANd I agree that he should just be bigger than Peter, Venom doesn't need to be the size of the Hulk.
His straifs from the source material were never that bad especially if you compare him to a bunch of MCU examples.
Insomniac really made a lot of wild changes in Spider-Man 2 and definitely anyone but tourists would have picked up on this. Kraven shouldn't be stronger than Spidy, just like you said, and I think they missed the point. As a hunter, you use traps and ranged weapons to hunt their target, so he's supposed to be physically weaker, but uses enhancements and traps to try and get the win.

Ultra cope. The time code literally leads you to a montage of Peter getting hit or pinned to a wall by a normal human. No footage of Peter beating her exists other than a DLC boss fight that had no winner due to it being interrupted.

Honestly, I feel like people are kind of tripping with Lois Jane. Like, yes, she's not comic-accurate at all, but it's not that big of a deal, since part of the first game's arc was her learning to less bitchy, and for Peter to trust her more (even if she gets into trouble aal the time). From a narrative point, you could probably assume that she would probably become more heroic over a span of 8 years due to being Sper-Man's girlfriend, and the game mentioning a few times she played a supporting role to him back in the day.
As for her taking down Hunters, it's gonna be a controversial take, but it makes sense to me. She had the training, so she knows some moves. But the reason why it makes sense to me is because she never actually fights any of them. She just tases them with taser from behind. She takes them out stealthily, and most of the time they're separated. same for the symbiotes, as she literally has a gun that shoots the one thing in this game that they're weak to (because they aren't weak to fire in this game). + they aren't exactly the brightest creatures in the game, and MJ, apart from the large brute, always had the drop on them.
The only sequence where I feel like it didn't make as much sense that she could take them all out is when they were at the house. Personally, it would have made more sense if they turned that into a full stealth section where you only have to distract people to get past them. Due to the proximity of the Hunters to each other, it didn't make much sense she could take them out stealthily without getting spotted.
Venom wasn't handled good due to how late in the game he was introduced, and because he was more of a plot device than a real character; He simply didn't have the time to show himself as a character.
(Btw, unlike what the video tells you, Eddie Brock DOES exist in this game + he works at the Daily Bugle. He was referenced in the first game when he wrote a little message to Peter on his farewell card, when Peter quit the Daily Bugle. Because yes, he DID work at the Daily Bugle in this universe, before he quit, because Jameson put out a news article saying that Peter had killed some policemen (he was framed). As a matter of fact, this game has a side-mission where you get to see firsthand how Peter and Jameson met. It does suck a little that they didn't at least make him show up during MJ's Daily Bugle arc, as they would probably know eachother. Idk, wasted opportunity). But since there will be either a Venom spin-off game, or a DLC with him (altough, I think it'll be a spin-off game), we'll get to see more of Venom, since there is probably still a little bit of the symbiote left inside of Harry. Who knows, maybe Eddie Brock gets in contact with it, and we have the proper origin for Venom.
About Black Cat, UltaMatE JOker was complaining his ass off about her being bisexual, completely forgetting that we nevr see this 'girlfriend' of hers. He mentions how odd it is she's doing all of this, just to see her girlfriend in Paris, all the while igonoring that very point he makes, and not thinking 'Does she actually have a girlfiend?' This Black Cat has a history of lying, and creating sobstories to get what she wants, even leading Peter to believe she has a child, all with a sad face. MJ mentions that she shouldn't trust a word coming out of her mouth, yet Miles is naïve, and hopeful, which is why she most likely managed to make him believe it. But then again, it could be true. But her history points to it not being true.
Point is, guilty until proven innocent, therefore, all his complaining about her being Bi was unwarranted, so yeah, jokes on you, UltaMatE JOker.
Also, he talks about how Kraven overpowered Peter, but he didn't. He just had better timing than Peter in ONE scene. Then he gets his ass whooped by Peter, even after he figures out the Black Suit's weakness, then he dies later on in the story. It's like the scene in the comics, when a bucnh of Avengers were trying to catch Spidey, and take this thing he had in a should bag with him. Everyone, from Captain Marvel to Black Panther got outclassed, out-smarted by Spidey (this was all one right after the other). Until Hawkeye shoots a special arrow at Spidey. Due to his reflexes and Spidey-Sense, he instinctively catches it easily without thinking, or even looking at it. That's when the arrow explodes, as it was a stun-bomb, and Hawkeye was planning on Spider-Man catching it. He used spidey's reflexes against him. That split-second was enough for him to be caught off-guard.
This is what Kraven also does in the scene when he stabs Peter. As you can see, it was a simultaneous motion of punching and stabbing. Peter's attention was on the caught punch, as it' when he probably realises "Damn, I should have put more power into my punch". This is something we've seen before with Insomniac's Spider-Man. Evertime he misjudges how much strength he needs to put in a punch, there's the execution, then the realisation, but in that same moment, he then gets punched or hit by the recipient. We saw it with Shocker, and others. In this case, Kraven used the split-second to stab him, because he knew Spider-Man's attention would be drawn to it, except, it was a simultaneous movement, therefore Peter wouldn't have time to process what just happened fast enough to realise that Kraven had sneakily stabbed him.
OR
Peter's Spidey-Sense sensed that Kraven was about to stab him(or actually hit him using his right hand, therefore he didn't know that Kraven was holding a knife.) (while he was still spinning. Therefore his back was turned towards Kraven). Of course, most people don't fight Mutates with Pre-cognitive abilities, so his opponent shouldn't expect a simultaneous punch and block manoeuvre by Spider-Man. So without looking he places his hand on Kraven's wrist to block the stab, and goes to punch Kraven (thinking he'd catch him off-guard). To his surprise, Kraven has much faster reflexes than he thought, and a better ability to predict someone's moves, so he catches Spidey's punch. This catches Spider-Man off-guard, makes his grip on Kraven's wrist become loose enough for him to pull through with the stab. A split second of confusion, and the fact that he was already doing the stabbing motion caused it all to work. Kraven used Spidey's reflexes against him.
As for Silver Sable, the very first time, when he shot his webs, and she used them against him, I think it's a matter of stupidity from Peter, but also not expecting her to quickly adapt. The second time, when he gets slammed against that door.. Well yeah, that was dumb, idk what happened there. The one thing I do want to say is that it was probably a matter of him wanting to talk, therefore not defending himself, since it wasn't a hard slam anyway. He probably saw it coming, and simply didn't react on purpose, since he wanted to talk.
And the third time, in the Silver Lining DLC...
Well, he was kicking her ass, so there is nothing to say about that. They fought, Spidey was wooping her ass, then she bounced.

Look, I made all of this stuff based on simple analysis of the scenes, how they've characterised the characters in this universe, and real-life martial arts experience. I already said I agreed that Venom was badly handled in this game, and simply gave some extra thoughts on why, from not being Eddie Brock, he wasn't made into a good character in this game. He's barely a character here. And I gave my theories on the future of the character.

But all the stuff with the hunters was drawn from my own experience in Martial Arts, therefore I could give SOME thought over what is possible, and what isn't.
Same for that long ass bit about Kraven stabbing Peter. The reason it was so long is because the concept I explained is a real thing irl I was taught, therefore, I didn't just pull it out of my armpit. I do it all the time in real-life + I analysed this version of Spider-Man's track record.
I understand that Kraven as a character doesn't beat Spider-Man (you already explained it well). I was just explaining why he did in THIS universe. Because it isn't the same. Not the same Spidey, not the same Kraven.
Should it have happened? No. But within the rules they created in this universe, what I explained makes sense. I wasn't trying to say "but nooo, Kraven so cool, you so wrong".
I know you're right about how these characters SHOULD be characterised, but you just didn't analyse that scene right, that's all.

Actually, they didn't make Black Cat bisexual because of any comic. In an actual interview they stated her way seducing Peter and then pulling a run away is something they thought a bisexual woman would do. Use a man and then get with a woman. Another thing they changed was they removed Venom's weaken to extreme heat. Their excuse for that was him having like 5 weakness and they decided sound was enough. As for MJ, I've had problems with her since the first game. There's what you said, making her an arrogant bitch. Which they do to an extreme. Here's the list.
1. When Spider-man tells her it isn't safe, she claims she saved him from the random hand gun pointed at him when he was clearly about to handle it.
2. When she gets caught and that gang gets away with the formula for Devils Breath, Peter apologizes for not stopping them, but we hear nothing from her who clearly messed up there.
3. When she hears there's a bomb at Grand Central Terminal, which could kill hundreds of people, does she tell Peter? No, because Peter won't want her there and she wants the credit, hundreds have to be in series danger.
4. In game 2, it's revealed she wrote an article that stated Spider-man to be the bad guy. Which she excuses because of what happened last night. But we all know she was planning to do that before hand.
Seriously, they've decided no matter what she does, she can't be wrong. That's what it is at this point. It's like what they did with Phin in the Miles game. She was clearly the bad guy, was in the wrong for so much. But was claiming it was all on Miles, even her trying to kill him. And what's worst, the way Miles reacts to her calling him a liar suggests he feels that way, which is BS.

Insomniac is by far the best Spider Man ever. Also just because any form of media deviates from the comics doesn't make them bad. It's part of Insomniac and Marvel contract where Insomniac was told to put their own spin on it as much as possible.

It only worked for Spider Man 2 because they were able to have a compelling story considering that it's 20 hours long (although only the third act was rushed, it could have been 5 hours longer) while Spider Man 3 and BVS didn't work because not only the writing wasn't good but also the idea of having miscastsnas well and their villains (except Sandman) weren't all that interesting.
In Marvel's Spider Man 2, Peter did win many battles too like be beated Lizard, Kraven, Scream and Wraith. He did more fight for Venom then Miles ever did. He beated Venom not Miles.
There were times when not staying 100% true to the comics actually worked like No Way Home, TMNT Mutant Mayhem, Namor from Black Panther Wakanda Forever, etc

I literally showed him being choked out by Scream at the ending cutscene, Peter didn't die to her only because she broke free from the symbiote herself somehow, Peter beating Venom was not a 1v1 win, your other arguments are poor but Peter not winning a 1v1 fight is a fact unless you want to count nameless thugs.
