- The Aggie Ring Documentary film was conceived to offer a comprehensive history of Texas A&M’s most recognizable symbol, from its humble beginnings to its current status as the largest ring program in the world. Production on the original film began in 2019, with a planned release of November 2020. COVID affected the project in many ways, and ultimately delayed the release until 2023. On a broader scale, this film was produced to remind us that what unites Aggies is our enduring Spirit, our shared experiences, and the Core Values of Texas A&M. That is the story we tell in this film.
My grandson is a single father. On ring day, his 5 year old son took the receipt to the table, retrieved the ring, then placed it on his father's finger. My grandson said his son had earned the ring as much as he had.
