the reason people dont talk about cobol is because no one can get access TO A MAINFRAME....
i just tried setting up the zowe explorer and managed to connect fairly. i still prefer the 3270 way....

they always refer to week 1. please put up that video

Just before @23:24 -- "that structure helps avoid things like spaghetti code." Oh man, if this presenter starts to see non-classroom samples of real live enterprise COBOL code, she will be in for a rude surprise!
