I feel so sad for Taylor swift. She really deserved a Grammy for this album. Its a timeless piece of art. This is and will always be her best album ever. Fun fact: Ajay is wearing entire red for red album reaction
Laura Lamb I see them! She really stands out in acoustic performances! she should really consider taking out an album with full on acoustic performances of her hits.
Taylor actually wrote a ten minute version of all to well because the whole situation brought her that many emotions but she never released it because she lost the music. Also starlight was written about president Kennedy
laurel howard she never released the long version of all to well cause she knew it was a bad idea to have a 7-15 minutes song for her album. So she contact Liz Rose to edit All too well into an album cut. And to be honest no one besides Taylor really knows if it’s 10 minutes long.
Red is about the different spectrums of love, represented in color. (losing him was BLUE, missing him was DARK GREY, loving him was red). The songs on the album describe the different types of love and State of Grace, as an the introductory song to the theme of an album, basically tells the moral of the album. Hence why it ends in “Love is a ruthless game unless you play it good and right.” in Begin again, as an ending track, Taylor describes how she gave up on love after everything she has experienced throughout the entire album. Then as she sits in the cafe, she learns to love again therefore ending the story.
You know what’s sad? Even on the deluxe, Come Back, Be Here is the deluxe ending track. It really re-paints her idea of “love being red” because it resets the idea of finding someone new again like Begin Again, but unfortunately that crumbles too, because as soon as she fell in love with somebody new again; she lost them.

"Starlight" is actually about Ethel and Bobby Kennedy. She was inspired by a photo of them dancing (from their youth) she found while dating Connor Kennedy (their grandson).
I became a swiftie after discovering Taylor's amazing songwriting abilities. I remember going through a list of all her songs and seeing she has writing credit on all of them and was like what. The thing I love most about her writing is like you said, she somehow has the ability to paint a picture in your mind with words. Like a real vivid picture. That's not very common. I love her so much

Bleachella Swift Red was also the saddest album. 1989 was more upbeat. Speak now was was more mature for her age. Fearless was...well, Fearlessness. Taylor Swift was the best debut album. Have you seen how popular Tim McGraw was? This proves that Britney Spears might be the princess of pop, Madonna the queen.(even though Taylor is a queen now). Taylor Swift was the one who revolutionised pop and country for generations to come. She's the GODDESS of pop.
Collette Ponce but i'm kinda glad it didn't. She said that if Red had won a grammy or album of the year she wouldn't have made 1989. And 1989 was her most succesful album yet.
I hope that y'all agree with me.... Red is Taylor's most powerful album: the passion on each track, the vocals, the collaborations, the overall feel of the album. Red will forever be my favorite Taylor Swift album. I feel like Red is her best work. No matter what she does in her career, Red is the peak of the mountain.
Joshua Ragland I think her every album was Special like Red when she falling in love, 1989 when she single, and new album Reputation I think about her life past 3 years. LWYMMD about the drama, ...Ready for it? When she begin new relationship (Rumor said about Joe). It's like listen her diary 😊
Even now I'm so sad that Red didn't win a grammy. RED VERY MUCH DESERVED THAT GRAMMY!! THIS ALBUM WAS A MASTERPIECE! Edit: the All Too Well short film got a Grammy!!
react to Speak Now by Taylor Swift! she wrote the entire album by herself at age 19! the album is lyrically amazing. Last Kiss is my favorite song from it. it will make you cry!
1989 won AOTY because it was had no contemporary basis. It was also cohesive and the writing was impeccable. Red was incohesive and felt a 50/50 pop/country album (which music critics don't like). 1989 was perfect, she took a risk on following an outdated 80's music formula and it worked. As you can see, three of her greatest songs in UA-cam is still from 1989 (Shake It Off, Blank Space and Bad Blood). Her vocals in tours was sharp and almost perfectly sustained. 1989 deserved the AOTY / period
1989 is her best album, it had songs that shook this decade. Red is just a sweet and consistent album, which is also very good. 1989 had shake it off, bad blood. blankspace, style and wildest dreams. 1989 was the biggest album of the decade alongside one of adelle's and ed sheeran's divide.
All Too Well is the best song on RED imo. Also, Taylor said there is a 10 minute version out in the world somewhere and she hasn't released it yet, but we still have hope. You should see her live performance of it because it hits the feels. Also, I would suggest listening to 'Speak Now'. She wrote it all herself and it's full of amazing lyrics and storytelling. Half of my favorite Taylor songs are on that album and it has the most songs that make me emotional.
swift is master of song lyrics. i LOVE LOOOVE most of her lyrics, but red contains her most gorgeous and sublime storytelling. begin again is MY FAVORITE taylor song. so luminous so hopeful! BEAUTIFUL!
Maybe Taylor made Gary to empower his voice over her's...which actually portrays that the guy was always dominant even at the last time....and everything has changed portrays that the guy realizes that he was not giving her a chance, like..can understand what am trying to say... Well don't believe ..probably it's only me who thinks like this tho ....u know even am dumb out here!!!.....n plz react to safe and sound..
The great thing about this album is that its so diverse. If you want a love song you got a few selections you want a broken heart song you have a few selections you wanna be in your feels you have several songs and its just a song for every moment
Except the entire album is about love. I like 1989 better because it focuses on so much more than just that. Eve Fearless has more variety. Change, The Best Day, Superstar. Then love and heartbreak too. RED is her album with the least variety, really.
Starlight was written from a photograph she saw of Robert and Ethel Kennedy. that's why she sings the line, "I met Bobby on the boardwalk summer of '45"
Starlight.- This song finds Swift singing about the romantic adventures of Ethel and Bobby Kennedy after coming across a photo of the pair dancing when they were teenagers. "She told The Wall Street Journal: "I get a lot of style inspiration from the 1960s, so I'll go and look at black and white pictures, and look at [photos from the] '50s and '60s, and I came across this picture of these two kids dancing at a dance. It immediately made me think of like how much fun they must have had that night. It was back in the late '40s. I ended up reading underneath that it was Ethel Kennedy and Robert F. Kennedy. And they were like 17. So I just kind of wrote that song from that place, not really knowing how they met or anything like that. And then her daughter Rory ended up coming to a show a couple weeks later and I told her about the song and she was like, you have to meet my mom. She would love to meet you. So that was kind of what that song was about." Ethel and Bobby are the grandparents of Conor Kennedy, whom Taylor was dating whilst writing for Red. The songstress became especially close to Ethel Kennedy during their relationship.
You've got to review Speak Now. It's a bit immature (she was a teen when she made this album) but it's her best lyrically. She also wrote all the songs by herself. Red is definitely her second best.
You should react to Speak Now! It is the most Taylor Swift album, because she wrote every single song on her own. It's really good, you should take a listen
I knew you were trouble is about John Mayer, because before they dated he had a reputation of a Hollywood heartbreaker and i think she knew that but she dated him anyway
Her masterpiece! Her opus! Her best album! Deserved the Grammy ∞ times more than Random Access Memories. It really deserves to be shared and preserved. Thank you so much for doing this AJAY! I wanted to know if you liked it better than 1989!
This is One of the most spiritual and most timeless records. This was one of the first albums I ever listened to, being 8 years old and I’m still listening to it at nearly 16 and relating more than ever and somehow it gets better with time
And according to the Grammy's, the biggest tellers of success it isn't the best since it didn't win a Grammy and her other songs did. Example: Mean. Don't say all critics think it's her best when there are plenty of her other songs critics have acknowledged more.
This album is the best album and actually had a deluxe version of 22 songs, you really need to react to The 6 deluxe tracks and all to well is my fav not just from this album, is my fav from tay💜💜💜
A Kelly OMG! Thank U for respond, I really enjoyed your reactions 💜💜 Yep just 4 new songs (there's one called Ronan, you probably gonna cry with that one) and the other 3 are acoustic versions of State of grace, treacherous and Red... Thank U❤️
Lily Sammont oh I'm pretty sure Ronan isn't actually on the album, it was released separately. But It did come out in the Red era so I get why you're assuming it is
0:28 State of Grace 2:50 Red 4:32 Treacherous 5:59 I Knew You Were Trouble 7:20 All Too Well 10:18 22 11:14 I Almost Do 12:29 We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together 13:22 Stay Stay Stay 14:09 The Last Time 15:45 Holy Ground 17:03 Sad Beautiful Tragic 18:41 The Lucky One 20:36 Everything Has Changed 22:35 Starlight 24:29: Begin Again
She literally described why she didn't liked it as much. It didn't sound like a song belonging on a Swift album (unlike Everything Has Changed, Endgame and Bad Blood). Harmonization and vocals were perfect but the focus was on Gary.
RED is too messy, otherwise it would have been her best album. Lyrically Taylor hasn't reached Red anymore. I also love the instruments. Ironically the biggest hits kind of ruin the album (I Knew you were trouble and we are never ever getting back together). Imagine the album being like this: State of Grace Come back.. be here Red Treacherous All too Well I Almost Do The moment I Knew The Last Time Sad Beautiful Tragic Holy Ground Everything has changed Starlight Begin Again
@@cheristina I don't think Red is messy. Most of the songs there have amazing lyrics, Speak Now is good but as years past and people grow it feels stupid and inmature. Both are good but Red is by far her better album, better than 1989, Lover, Speak Now and, her worst, Reputation.
Please react to Taylor Swift singing Blank Space, Wildest Dreams, and Out Of The Woods live at the Grammy Museum! It's sooooooooo good!!! You will be SHOCKED by how well she sings live!!!!!
Taylor in 2012 (before Joe) : Loving him was red! *Burning red* Taylor in 2019 (With Joe) : I once believed love would be *burning red* but it's *golden* like _daylight_ ! My dear Joe, you make our Queen so happy! She is the happiest she has ever been and I live for it! 🧿♥️♥️🧿

Begin Again hit me so hard at 15 when I first listened to it, now at 21, if ever I get married I want that as a song I will dance to.
How about now since lover exists?
Same! It was saddening but optimistic at the same time!
@@a.2169 Wdym
I love Red! It’s lyrically superior to 1989 and if anyone calls Taylor’s lyrics basic, kindly send them her older albums 🙂
Analytic agree!!
Fearless, Speak Now and Red >>> 1989
Especially speak now 'cause she wrote ALL the song ON HER FREAKING OWN😍
So acording to u , Repu is basic!
@@Jaykays-rb9hp lol that's kinda what they said but not really cause Getaway Car, the bridge of Dress, New Year's Day, Call it what you want and etc.
send them folklore and evermore now
WHO ELSE IS STILL PISSED RED DIDNT WIN A GRAMMY
Collette Ponce I WILL ALWAYS BE HEATED
Urggggg RED DESERVES A GRAMMY
Not even a single one.
Collette Ponce but i'm kinda glad it didn't. She said that if Red had won a grammy or album of the year she wouldn't have made 1989. And 1989 was her most succesful album yet.
I am, she deserves a Grammy for this
The fact that she wore red is a level of extra we all love
I hope that y'all agree with me.... Red is Taylor's most powerful album: the passion on each track, the vocals, the collaborations, the overall feel of the album. Red will forever be my favorite Taylor Swift album. I feel like Red is her best work. No matter what she does in her career, Red is the peak of the mountain.
I have heard that reputation is really diverse, just like red. It might be just as good
Joshua Ragland I think her every album was Special like Red when she falling in love, 1989 when she single, and new album Reputation I think about her life past 3 years. LWYMMD about the drama, ...Ready for it? When she begin new relationship (Rumor said about Joe). It's like listen her diary 😊
i don't agree. red is my least favorite album by her.
SabrinaCenteral reputation is 🔥 🔥 🔥
Yeah, I feel there's something magical in Red. Even the style she used during that era was lit. Forever Red.
Anyone else comes to her video after a fuckin depressing day bcz she's so funny and you gonna laugh and feel better😅😅ok just me ?🤦♀️🤦♀️
Queen Of music i do don’t worry
Queen Of music me 🙌🏻
My favorite tracks in RED
- State of Grace
- Red
- Treacherous
- All too well
- I almost do
- Begin Again
The WHOLE damn album 🤣
Yes! I listen to this album over and over!
Even now I'm so sad that Red didn't win a grammy. RED VERY MUCH DESERVED THAT GRAMMY!! THIS ALBUM WAS A MASTERPIECE!
Edit: the All Too Well short film got a Grammy!!
All too well getting that grammy was the bare minimum of respect this album got from the academy 😭
react to Speak Now by Taylor Swift! she wrote the entire album by herself at age 19! the album is lyrically amazing. Last Kiss is my favorite song from it. it will make you cry!
Lydia Styles I live innocent
Lydia Styles i live for that song
Lydia Styles HARRY😍😍😍😍😍😍
Lydia Styles
Haunted and stay stay stay are my fav of that album.
Olivia Abeziz YES innocent is so amazing and underrated!
This album is better than 1989 in my opinion. It was robbed of a Grammy.
Candice Huffstetler PREACH. 1989 is good but overrated AF
@@maikeru8522 I KNOW that you did not say that RED wasn't cohesive
1989 is her best album, it had songs that shook this decade. Red is just a sweet and consistent album, which is also very good. 1989 had shake it off, bad blood. blankspace, style and wildest dreams. 1989 was the biggest album of the decade alongside one of adelle's and ed sheeran's divide.
@@Ken-xw1lm That's not what makes a good album. IMO Lover >>> 1989
Helly Watermelonsmellinfellon taylor list the long version of all too well. I hope she finds it though. I love all too well
15 minutes ;) but I don‘t think it exist
What's up ya'll Taylor is about to rerecord All Too Well the 10-minute version this year. So excited!
We are getting 10 min version of all too well now
pov now we getting the 10 min version
swift is master of song lyrics. i LOVE LOOOVE most of her lyrics, but red contains her most gorgeous and sublime storytelling. begin again is MY FAVORITE taylor song. so luminous so hopeful!
YOU CALL ME UP AGAIN JUST TO BREAK MY LIKE A PROMISE *cries in spanish*
And here, ladies and gentlemen, is the moment AJ starts the rabbithole of a life of becoming a full fledged Swiftie
Starlight was written from a photograph she saw of Robert and Ethel Kennedy. that's why she sings the line, "I met Bobby on the boardwalk summer of '45"
Well you never know. For like a year I thought she said "I'm a barbie on the boardwalk"
Although I did know it was about Ethel I didn't realize the lyric was that lol.
all too well is about jake gyllenhaal. and i knew you were trouble i think is about john mayer. probably
gibbzinha yep
IKYWT is about Harry Styles
@@li2386 are you dumb?
@@li2386 Taylor and Harry weren't even dating when Red was released.
Mr. Non-existent Taylor herself said they dated twice, before and after the album was released
So that was kind of what that song was about."
Ethel and Bobby are the grandparents of Conor Kennedy, whom Taylor was dating whilst writing for Red. The songstress became especially close to Ethel Kennedy during their relationship.
We were so blessed to have a Taylor / Ed Sheeran duet
All too well is my go-to song if i feel in the mood for a good crying session
Monica Mendoza I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE, OMG!!!
SAME LOL ESPECIALLY GRAMMYS LIVE
Monica Mendoza same!!

I love how you're open to any genre of music!
Speak Now is one the best albums lyrically for me. Also, you should listen to the deluxe tracks of red good songs in there too.
REACT TO SPEAK NOW ITS HER BEST ALBUM AND SHE SELF WROTE THE WHOLE THING AT THE AGE OF 19
YASSS!!!!
🙌🙌🙌
Red is her best album, next
You've got to review Speak Now. It's a bit immature (she was a teen when she made this album) but it's her best lyrically. She also wrote all the songs by herself. Red is definitely her second best.
Immature? Excuse me beech
Red is better lyrically imo
IMMATURE????
SORRY WHAT? IMMATURE? GURL NOO
I mean she was 18/19 so technically she was an adult. I don’t think it’s really that immature at all, but to each their own
Taylor Swift - Speak Now 💙
yes react to speak now this needs to happen
Yes, speak now pleaaaaase 😍
Speak Now is what needs to be done

Please react to the songs on the Deluxe Edition as well. “The Moment I Knew” and “Come Back... Be Here” get me every time.
You should react to Speak Now! It is the most Taylor Swift album, because she wrote every single song on her own. It's really good, you should take a listen
you should react to speak now. she wrote that album alone!!
I knew you were trouble is about John Mayer, because before they dated he had a reputation of a Hollywood heartbreaker and i think she knew that but she dated him anyway
ALL TOO WELL IS HER BEST SONG.
Dianne Hadap That song gets on my nerves cus it’s about Lena Dunham 😒
SushiRoll Speaks ????? Its about jake Gyllenhaal. The only song taylor wrote for lena was "you are inlove"
You need to react to Taylor Swift performing All Too Well at the Grammys!
Imma say this again
RED
DESERVES
A
GRAMMY
Her masterpiece! Her opus! Her best album! Deserved the Grammy ∞ times more than Random Access Memories. It really deserves to be shared and preserved. Thank you so much for doing this AJAY! I wanted to know if you liked it better than 1989!
Diego a.m. you mean rrrrrrrrrrrrrandom access memories? I agree

Exactly. Grammy judges are too lame sometimes.
Do you still feel the same way now? I wanna know!
I'VE BEEN WAITING MY WHOLE LIFE FOR THIS AND I AM SO HAPPY YOU LIKED!! IT IS MY FAVORITE ALBUM EVER!!
This is One of the most spiritual and most timeless records. This was one of the first albums I ever listened to, being 8 years old and I’m still listening to it at nearly 16 and relating more than ever and somehow it gets better with time
ALL TOO WELL is regarded as Taylor’s BEST SONG!
Alyce Eliza True
All Too Well has the highest number of quotes as being her best song from industry to fan base. What would you say is her best?
We love tea
I like How You Get The Girl better then All Too Well but everyone has different opinions.
Lily Sammont there are only three extra songs right? Or are you also counting acoustics/demo versions?
A Kelly
OMG! Thank U for respond, I really enjoyed your reactions 💜💜
Yep just 4 new songs (there's one called Ronan, you probably gonna cry with that one) and the other 3 are acoustic versions of State of grace, treacherous and Red...
Thank U❤️
Lily Sammont oh I'm pretty sure Ronan isn't actually on the album, it was released separately. But It did come out in the Red era so I get why you're assuming it is

can't believe you didn't like The last time, it's one of her best songs, lyrics and everything single thing

Srishty Swiftie My favourite track from the album.
Srishty Swiftie its a grower
The Last Time vocals are everything. The harmonizing omg 🙀 this song is such an underrated masterpiece.
My stan song lol
She literally described why she didn't liked it as much. It didn't sound like a song belonging on a Swift album (unlike Everything Has Changed, Endgame and Bad Blood). Harmonization and vocals were perfect but the focus was on Gary.
You really need to react to the All Too Well performance at the Grammys! 🤗

starlight is written about Ethel and Robert Kennedy. She dated Connor Kennedy for a minute.
kk9591 “for a minute” 😂😂
all too well is probably taylor's best song ever ♡
Girl, if you liked the lyric power of RED, you have no idea about Speak Now...
Matheus Maroneze I think Red is better lyrically, but anyway: both are both masterpieces 😍❤️
RED is too messy, otherwise it would have been her best album. Lyrically Taylor hasn't reached Red anymore. I also love the instruments. Ironically the biggest hits kind of ruin the album (I Knew you were trouble and we are never ever getting back together).
Imagine the album being like this:
State of Grace
Come back.. be here
Red
Treacherous
All too Well
I Almost Do
The moment I Knew
The Last Time
Sad Beautiful Tragic
Holy Ground
Everything has changed
Starlight
Begin Again
@@cheristina totally disagree, if not these hits no1 would evem know that album exists
@@cheristina I don't think Red is messy. Most of the songs there have amazing lyrics, Speak Now is good but as years past and people grow it feels stupid and inmature. Both are good but Red is by far her better album, better than 1989, Lover, Speak Now and, her worst, Reputation.
Speak Now used to be her best album until folklore came.
This is a “Yee-Haw” type of song
