I purchased the Trident wheels as well square setup 19x10s. Did you install them yet and if so did you notice the weight savings. I've read it's noticable in the way the car handles?
They are 19x11 and I haven't weighed them yet. I should I suppose, but my arms tell me they are lighter from rotating the stock tires. By how much I'm not sure yet. I'll weigh them at some point here and post the update.
I’m also thinking of getting this wheels for my 11 5.0! Remember you can use your OEM center caps with the pony! Which I think will look even cleaner.. nice ride man!
Thank you. I would use them if they weren't chrome. Currently they are the only things I have chrome and if I could find red or black ones I'd change them out. Let me know if you get them and if you like them. Hopefully I can test them out in a couple months.
Those are really sharp looking Bro ! Hope you have time to do the axles before trying the stickies at the track. I’m just going to do the GT350 axles on mine, should be enough for a mild bolt on street car ;)
Very good. I probably won't do those until next spring. I know it's a little risky maybe but since I'm still pretty much sick horsepower it shouldn't be an issue. I know of a guy that has almost 600 hp and used drag tires without any issues on stock half shafts. But it is on my list of things to do soon.
Hopefully they’ll hold up. The 600hp car is obviously an example of the potential positive outlook, and the folks who have broken them with stock power is the other side. Fingers crossed for you !
They are lighter by feel and I did weigh them at one point but forgot what those numbers are. I'll weigh them again within the next and post it. Thank you for asking and reminding me to do that.
@@bardstables8909 no thank you for taking the time the weigh them again. I want to say they're around 5 to 6 lb less per wheel versus the stock performance pack rims.
@@user-bk5ey9ws5g the rims I'm sure are lighter, but when I weigh them again it'll be with tires mounted. So it may be closer than that since the new tires are bigger. But this should prove interesting since I didn't pay a lot of attention to it before.
@@bardstables8909 I just purchased the steeda trident wheels square setup. 19x10s They weigh 24.2 lbs vs stock performance pack rim 19x9.5 which was 33.4 lbs run only. So not bad 9.2 lbs unsprung weight off each corner
A special thank you to @steeda for all the help in making this happen.
I missed the size of the wheels, just the tire size.
@@irvingsanguinetti7659 19X11 with a +53 offset.
@@bardstables8909 Very nice. Hope it hooks to lay all them Ponys down.
@@irvingsanguinetti7659 they do very well. Much better than the Michelin ones.
Fark, that 305 looks magically delicious. Wish I could fit a tire that wide in the rear on my car
Have you considered using spacers? Not sure if that would work for you, but it's an idea.
@@bardstables8909 I have yes but I like wider rubber. I'm settling for a 285/30. This is on a 9.5 wide wheel.
@blackpanda7612 OK, definitely more rubber on the ground is a good thing. So without major surgery you're probably pretty limited then?
I recently got my Trident rims their amazing.
You'll definitely love them. They are nice wheels.

This came out awesome!
Thank you. You guys were a tremendous help.
You should be able to put down some good numbers at the track.Very interested to see what it does this summer.
I'm sure hoping so. This is a big improvement over stock. At least for the drag strip. Can't wait to share the results with you.
They look great. I just got my new wheels in. Waiting on tires now
What did you go with?
Looks good I'm getting the same tires for mine 👍🔥
You'll really like them I'm sure.
Black lugs👍..how wide are the rims and what is the weight?

@@skipgumphrey9579 thank you. Of course if it does I'll bring it home and tell Ford I have no idea what happened. Lol. Let them warranty it then.
Just make sure you’ve got the Michelin’s back on for the trip to the stealership lol 😝
@@skipgumphrey9579 yes indeed.
Have you drive in the rain with these ?
Yes I have. They're no worse than the Michelin pilot sports in my opinion. Still need to be careful on the twisties though.
What did these rims weigh. I'm assuming they're a bit lighter than the stock performance pack wheel?

@CharlesRadley-np1xf I agree, that's what I ended up going with.
