Mate that was a mess but I know that SS figures aren’t always the best quality as someone said the other day that SS are only in it to make money and don’t really care about true collectors. Great mod now mate and probably worth doing as it’s going to last a lot longer, great work mate 👌
This video was worth it only to learn which body can replace that horrible Sideshow body. I own several clones, which all suffer from the same: extreme wobbliness. I do not dare to leave them without a stand. I will rewind to the time where you show that Worldbox box to get the item number. Otherwise, you did absolutely amazing. What a fantastic rebuild.

Tbh i always swap out the bodies with those phicen seamless muscular bodies cause they have a stainless steel frame with realistic rubber skin covering all over, and the articulation is way better than Hot Toys, so you can just get way more positions and poses out of those. It may cost abit more money but well worth it in the long run.

I'll still collect Hot Toys where i can but cause i've already learn to use a sowing machine, and i'm buying odd pieces of things that's hard to make like boots, and head sculpts off places like ebay (which frankly have more variety than amazon).

Wow 🤯 I don't mind purchasing broken or damaged figures, as long as the seller has disclosed the actual condition in advance. I've gotten some really nice costumes, accessories and kitbash fodder that way. And I prefer to replace my figure bodies, even on certain authentic Hot Toys, just because there's room for improvement. It sucks that the base body on the Sideshow Mythos Boba Fett is such shite, because when I first saw the prototype pictures a few years ago, my first impression was that the costume would make a nice addition to my collection 😎👍 Great video mate, you've definitely made the best of a bad situation

This video was absolutely awesome to watch and you did an amazing job! The Mythos Boba figure was already a super cool figure, but you just made it a million times better. Plus, taking one that was so damaged and rebuilding it to a complete work of art is a nice little "take that" to the uncaring jerk that sold it to you. ;) Keep up the awesome work!!! ^_^
Hey dude I'm not 100% sure as I don't have him but I've got 5 of these bodies now and multiple different heads have fitted on so I'd say that it should fit yes
I hate side show bodies. They do not hold up. Bought two different figures from them and its all the same body. My mythos legs are super loose can't even stand it up to save it. Gonna have to do what you did. Thanks for video. I need swap mines.
I almost bought this SS Boba Fett Mythos figure, but so glad I didn’t. Every review I have seen on UA-cam has pointed out flaws with the body and outfit. Well done on improving your figure, but with the prices SS are charging I will stick to collecting decent quality Hot Toys figures……🤪🤪😁😁😁

Hey Awesome swap and finished figure, I just ordered mine because of your finished piece, I’m thinking of doing the magnet trick when I get mine but was wondering if you even need to hook up the jet pack in the loops or will the magnets be enough to hold it? Now if I could find some hottoys boots I’d think about the body swap. Keep up the awesome work!
So I customize 1/12 figures and I’m thinking about getting into the 1/6 game how do you go about finding bodies for costumes etc? Mythos kenobi is probably gonna be my first but may want to upgrade him eventually
Haha well the Chrome deluxe Mando ended up being my first HT and 1/6 figure but I removed the padded suit and put back sections to beef him up in areas

Ohhh dude yeah it's super loose! I think you will be okay without a fat suit dude ☺️ it does help though. I had to keep it in as it has stretched the elastic on some of the armor so if I took the fat suit out they would be to loose 🤙 Ah those bodies are made for hot toys pegs so the sideshow boots don't fit well 😥 plus mine came snapped inside

I just switch my mythos body too with a mando body how did you get the flame effects on the jet pack and wrist
