As a Hundred sceptic and doubter,I’ve been glued every day to the highlights. For young families ,for those who work long hours,for those wanting a fast paced two hours of sport, I take my hat off to The Hundred. Test cricket will always be the pinnacle but this is fun

But 20/20 gives 2 hours of fast paced sport. The hundred is 17/17. 6 overs less and you pay more to watch less. I think the marketing hype has got the better of people.

@@shahee6579 It's 40 balls longer or 6.4 real overs. So anywhere typically from 35 to 50 mins depending.
But the clever bit is they charge more money for less balls.
@Dylan o'berry That's a good point. If you get to see both matches it would be better value. This is not made clear on the website.
The website is not great to be honest. It gives the headline result, but you can't click on the matches and see the scorecards. It's not good for true cricket fans.
If we can see both matches for the ticket fee I will go to some live. If not there is TV and You Tube.

Ben Stokes has been played the bad hand in IPL and The Hundred, kinda unfortunate but to be fair Northern Superchargers bowled well to bring it back a bit after a bad batting innings but Hales was good enough to win it for Trent

Hales is such a underated player n match winner , he was key player around 2018 to 2019 until he was dropped from ODIs n t20s , he should be representing eng in t20s ,stokes look like he is struggling physically , should have opted out of the hundreds as he is not 100 % fit,also it's odd to see root getting out to spin on his first ball ,he is best player of spin bowling on the planet actually lol
