Thank you so much for this video. It's saved me from buying another sat nav. Had this year's. Stopped using it when we bought cars with built in sat nav. We bought an older van for our very large dogs, but it has no sat nav. I had forgotten the security code, like you do, and really didn't want to buy a new one. Great information. 👍
I found mine today, just as I left it 10 plus years ago. The advice was perfect and was able to clear it. C330, probably going to donate it. Thanks for the info. 👍👍👍
I just got a c330 with some other stuff. Hoping it works because even though it's small and old it is quite cute and in great shape. Only use a GPS because my dash gauges sometime have a sword fight with each other so at play time no speed can be read.
Yes, it should work for most older Garmin Devices. Also on the Nuvi 360 the hardware reset is behind the flip up antenna on the back. Here is a complete video on that ua-cam.com/video/GoXwBN57WWk/v-deo.html
Yes you can, but you need to download and install Garmin's Computer Application called Base Camp. Then connect your Garmin via USB cable with your computer and run Base Camp to backup all favorite places, rout history, and saved names and addresses.
You are welcome, so you can't go back to factory original maps because the new maps will overwrite the old ones. Also you can't downgrade the firmware, you can only upgrade it. You could however get the old maps elsewhere and transfer it manually to this unit.
The only solution for the PIN unlock is to take to the exact location where the pin was created. Otherwise you have to try common passwords like 0000 1111 2222 3333 1234 0123 2345 3456 7890 etc. If none of these work then you have to change the main board on the GPS, or built a robot like this one ua-cam.com/video/FCEhv1_OwEY/v-deo.html
The only solution to that is to take it the place " Geographic Location" where you initially set the password. Other than that you will need to build a robot to try every possible combination like this guy did ua-cam.com/video/sHp4px45uQY/v-deo.html

I know they are very sold build units, much sturdier than the new models.
Do you know if this will work on a Garmin nuvi 360. I got one from a storage unit I bought it looks fairly new just can't get into it thank you

Before doing a Factory Reset, is there any way to backup personal info on a PC, like «My Locations/Favorites»?

@@TECHNOLOGYTIPS101 Thanks a lot.
@@lpin9365 You are very welcome!
Thanks for the video. Do you know how to reset it back to like when it was new, i.e. 2005 map and software?
