Wow! Such an important issue to put light on!!! Love it!!!
I always used to take a 100 mg caffeine tablet 20-25 min before my sprints :) def notice a good difference mentality and performance wise too!
I just swim for fitness but I've started going in the mornings before I eat breakfast and drink my coffee. I was drinking coffee while watching this but nothing wakes you up like an early morning swim!
Superb video mate.
Thanks for the valuable feedback

I didn't grow up in a household that regularly drank coffee. My first cup was during a backpacking trip with my father. We were out for several days and I was tired all the time. He suggested I try a cup of instant saying it would "make the whole day seem brighter". I never drank it in college because then, it was just awful. I did like tea. I didn't like the way these substances made me feel. Later into my late 20's and early 30's I began to enjoy brewing my own in a perk pot. When my work would involve a lot of manual labor I would drink quite a bit of coffee in the morning. Since then it has become a daily habit and since expresso machines have become more available I have now become a two expresso in the morning guy. When I used to swim in the morning I would never drink anything but water beforehand. The feel of the water and the anticipation of the enjoyment of the sport was enough to arouse me. No problem waking up if the water was cold. As I explored my limits in endurance sports I did discover that these newfangled products would give me a sense of energy but they also left me with uneasy feelings and emotions. I discontinued using them because I like to know what I am putting into my body and simply don't trust them. Thanks for covering this subject.
Coffee may “hide” or “camouflage” the fact that my body is tired or sleepy but it doesn’t erase the fact that my body needs to catch up on it’s sleep. No wonder I am still uncoordinated after a coffee even though I ‘feel’ awake.
Thanks for video. I will be grateful if you will also write the metric values.
I feel that in general it is recommended to get rid of bad habits that cost energy you could use elsewere.
I already stay away from alcohol and cigarettes, so coffee is next. Not so easy but it's a matter of will power.
I went to work with may father and when picking him up I eventualy had to drin a coffee my mother made. Drinking coffee I never liked or enjoye, was nothng special to me, so I did not order it .Then living alone I would always have severe headaches on Saturdays and Sundays(not going to work and drink coffee) Then my Gf suggested to try to drink a cup also on Saturday and Sunday. The headaches went away and thats when I realized I was somehow addicted to drink a cup in the morning.☕☕🥺
many kinds of stimulants can make you perform better at sport. most pro footballers use snus, helps them relax, make better decisions under intense pressure
I skip coffee on Mondays and Thursdays. Those days, I feel really tired. I think maybe 5 coffees per week is a bit high for me? Not sure how others can drink multiple cups per day.
What about bomb coffee? I used to drink coffee with coconut oil and it did give me more energy than plain coffee. Also heard mushroom coffee is now highly beneficial in comparison to standard coffee. Any ideas?
Im having a tablet of 200 mg of caffeine before a race, but only 2-3 times per year bcs I only use it for the important races...thats okay I think
No way?!
From a personal experience, drinking a lot of coffee makes you have a lot more crampes. I know thats what happens to me.
