Used the turtle wax on my destroyer gray challenger and I have to say it made my car look like a gray mirror, no water spots, and a great finish. Will be adding this wax to my detailing lineup. 👌🏾
I saw your video the other day and went yesterday to purchase the turtle wax, and I was able to use it today.
I am speechless, it worked great and it cut my drying time in half. Only needed a 16x-16 towel to dry my whole car (Honda civic) GREAT PRODUCT.
Cant wait to use it on my explorer Now.
Also washed my car when the sun was out and did not see any water spots👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Been using turtle wax wax and dry for the past 2 years. It saves me some much time. From 5-6 dollars it's a no brainer
Jumbo I love this technique. It buys me a lot of time as well. I don't blame you for being burnt out with the comments. I didn't realize that there were so many idiots watching detail videos. Give me a shout sometime this is Greg from Cadillac auto detailing Cadillac MI
Great vid. I've been using the wax as you dry and ice products for years and have been nothing but impressed, especially considering the price point. Here in Texas, the water dries so quickly on the car that water spots are a huge problem. These types of products help tremendously.
I live in Florida and the Turtle Wax Wax&Dry really makes a difference in the hot sun with hard water.
Glad I stumbled on this video. Just washed my black truck here in Florida and the water spots drive me nuts. Definitely will pick up some TW and try it.
Thanks for another great video Jimbo, before I wouldn’t have used Turtle Wax products to detail my garbage cans & now I’m a fan & can’t wait to try as a drying aid
This is great. Glad I came across this just because I live in TX and when you wash a car here it dries so damn quick. This will buy me a little bit of time.
I think by now, it should be obvious that Turtle Wax is the value leader of the truly inexpensive car products. And speaking about inexpensive, TW Ice Seal N Shine is still available at Walmart for $6.97. :)
Ed Ruiz seal and shine has been out for 6 months and still not available anywhere in south Jersey 😐 can’t wait till I get some
$26 in Australia.... everything that's good in the us costs us an arm and a leg.
Paul McGaw I got The turtle wax for $10 when it was on sale the Boxing Day sale at Repco Parramatta.
I have used the turtle wax for a while now
Wife went on vacation and I had to clean before she came back lol (shocker lol)
I used it on cupboards ,windows., quartz counter as well as stainless
Ya this is a great product
I hope they don’t up the price
Cheers bud....great vid as always
Great video. Everyone knocks the “non-professional” products, but they really make decent stuff sometimes. Happy Father’s Day! May the Force be with you
Cannot speak for the Eagle-1 as I have not used it. The TW Wax & Dry is a phenomenal quick-easy-to-use detailer for those who wash their car but don't have the time to go full time wax/detail after a wash. It leaves a tremendous shine and contrary to some - lasts a decent amount of time - especially if your car is well maintained to begin with. No its not a Sio2 or Graphene coating but at $5 is a terrific car care product that certainly has its place - especially when u r ondago!
Thanks for the video. I always liked the wax as you dry from TW. Lasts longer than other spray waxes (ie griots and pinnacle), and i prefer the shine it has to other products as well. Always end up happy with this one.
Love your videos don’t waste energy on negative comments. Those of us who love your videos also appreciate you doing them. I’ve found a lot of great products from watching your channel.
People always make fun of turtle wax because you can get it at walmart, autozone, etc. Yet they praise the overpriced junk like adams that does the same job at 5x the price. Well i won't call adams junk, it's good stuff but it's overpriced. I use CG only because i get discounts off it but in a pinch, i still use my turtle wax ice spray. It is one of the BEST waxes i ever used. In both liquid and spray wax categories. I don't know the longevity of turtle wax ice but i wash my car pretty often anyway, especially during warm months so it doesn't matter. Plus its so cheap. I may try turtle wax, wax and dry next summer. I don't have that in my supply yet. But turtle wax is amazing.
Your videos encouraged me to try the Ice Spray Wax because I like one product that works and I had been using the Meg Express Wax and recently purchased the OPT Spray wax at 2X the cost of Turtle Wax.. I use ONR to wash and TW Ice Spray wax before wiping the panel dry. Thats right, mist on spray wax as a dry aid to skip one step. Even paying around 9 bucks for Ice spray wax from Walmart, its a bargain compared to any other product because it lasts a long time.
I agree that Eagle One changing their bottle was a big mistake.
The TW is a very good value.
great product review video again jimbo. happy father's day ....b well buddy
turtle wax has been stepping up there game lately..good products at a great price
Nice review, I have been using Turtle Wax Wash and Dry for years, love it, no more past wax for me unless I really need to remove a light scratch or something.
I've got both products, so this is a great comparison!! Thanks for posting.......
Great information & video! Agree with your overall positive feelings about TW.
The iron remover has
PVD and Aluminum Wheel Cleaner
in green letters on the side, so if a person can read and not in a big hurry, they will go home from the store happy not confused!!!!
I would assume that no.1 selling refers to units sold, not their best product.
you rock! keep these videos going man! love this
Nothing beats wax as you dry 😁 don't get me wrong i put a sealent like megs fast finish once every 2 months but still im lazy as hell hahaha have a good weekend jim 😇
I have use This Spray Turtle Wax for years Love it
I really need that turtle wax especially for that water spot slow down thanks for that
Great review turtle wax looked really good for a quick wax. Probably last a month under normal use everyday driver car.
I just reviewed the turtle wax again its a great product i love useing it as a drying aid tfs buddy
Glad to see that you got a new panel.
I can appreciate the video. I was debating on purchasing the product from a local dollar tree in Houston. I feel okay ill purchase. I have a black car that is new ive had a white car for years. Now im onto my 2nd car owner and i mean i see water spots like crazy that can't get rid of.
I'm getting to the point of washing my car myself. Any ideas on fiy getting rid of scuffs scraps or scratches...I'll search on your page but if you can beat me to it a good recommendation would be greatly appreciated
I think Wax as u dry is 4.95 at walmart & ive used it for years. For me it saves time by not having to dry my car then top it with a detail spray. Theres a reason why its a best seller, easy use & a great shine. I will always have a bottle in the car!
Going to give the Turtle Wax product a try. Cheap, and always on the shelf at my local Walmart. Thanks for the review.
Nice hood panel buddy i am going to get me one to i can test more stuff like you tfs buddy
Keep up the great work. Now. I need my whole car done. When can I drop it off? I inherited intro-swirl marks, scatches, and paint chips. I believe in what you do...I would like to get you to get it showroom. Then I want solid protection? Thoughts?
Nice job Jimbo! dont let the haters get to you, can you spray some car pro eraser on the flat black panel then see how the water reacts? 👍
Hahaaa. "What now Haters?" Good on you. It's OK to ignore the comments. Just keep doing what you're doing.
Thank you! I thought I was the only one who completely hated brands that have the same label for all their products! How many time have I wasted products from Gtechniq by filling a bottle up with the wrong product (like putting solvent in the C2V3 bottle thinking it's Panel Wipe, or putting sealant in the Tar remover... etc... Now I no longer use their bottles, I put the products in other bottles when I get them.
Superior products formula 4 spray wax has this chemical make up to buy you time during your outdoor washes. One gallon is like $18 and dilutes 4:1. You can special order it or any of their professional detailing products at any O’Rileys locations
I have turtle wax in Singapore. I guess if the product can be sold this far, I guess it must be pretty decent.
I have used Lucas spray wax as a wax as you dry and it has done me very well but it’s pricy and I don’t get no water spots out of it and I live in south Florida so any wax as you dry I try them out to make sure I’m not killing the bank on my end .. but another cool video jimbo!!
I too am a frequent user of Lucas Speed Wax. I'm seeing the price drop. If you have a Menard's it's about $ 7 there. Otherwise Walmart is the 2nd cheapest I've seen.
Love the turtle wax as u dry. Thought it was gonna be like the carnauba spray wax they have which i hate due to it leaving so much leftover wax that dried out. But this on the other hand is plain amazing. Helps a lot when drying my car and the shine after using it is great. Easy to wipe and doesn't leave residue.
I use the Turtle 🐢 on my umbrellas , dry on its own...
Thanks Demo dude
Jimbo try the Shield One Advanced CERAMIC spray coating and nano hydrophobic spray coating products
Eagle one did an amazing job filling the imperfections in the hood. Awesome vid again 🙌🏼
Turtle wax Wax & Dry is the best out. Hands down.
This turtle wax product is the product I use. I keep 4 bottles on the shelf. I have been using turtle wax for over 40 years.
After watching the entire video,,,,Thanks! Informative and enjoyable!! Thanks for posting :)
Eagle 1 should of changed the colors of the bottles to set them apart. Red for the iron remover, Green for the regular wheel cleaner and blue for the wax as you dry or something along those lines
I enjoyed and I use ice on my car cant find it thanks for the information have a great day
I like the hood a bit better because the angles are more symmetric less speculation
Like that you finally started using a fair surface to the competitors in your test :)
Great video buddy tfs
Thanks for the info 👍
That was freaking awesome, gives you so much more time to dry your car even if there's not much protection..
Turtle wax and dry under 5 at Walmart. No rag though.
bought this and used it on my 03 chevy cavalier yesterday it looks amazing. I just used paper towels to dry it.
ThelastGinyu please tel me your joking 😭😬 your car must be completely scratched up dude. I have a 2019 Subaru wrx Sti and have been super careful and have kept my paint almost perfect to the day I got it! No chips or swirls
really liking the water spot heads up, cause my paint looks just like that hood. Java Black LR3
Nice work with the new hood always wonder why people dont use hoods or tailgates 🤘🤘
New panel, l love it !
Yup that turtle Wax is good that's what my grandpa been using and i use it to 😎
I got TW and Meguiars BUT. BUT EAGLE ONE IS HARD TO FIND IN MIAMI AUTOZONE S OR DISCOUNT AUTO do you think o reily got ..
I never ever got nothing in o reiley idk Y. SInce i got a fairly 34000 mil kia Soul i never drive only on weekends since i drive Co Vehicle for years.....tnks Mr Balaam
turtle wax has been around since before we were born and there's a good reason they're still here
Thanks Jimbo
I don't enjoy the uniform bottles either but my only guess as to why would be maybe for detailers? A lot of them seem to love having uniform bottles to the point where they will put everything in 3rd party bottle (which in all honesty is more tidy and professional) but yeah, that would be my guess hoping maybe to get a few extra sales here and there or maybe trying to convense a few to switch over to their products exclusively with the benefit of uniform bottles for everything off the shelf but that honestly feels like a rather unlikely assumption but I mean unless they just figured out it was a lot cheaper to use 1 bottle for everything there must have been a logical reason for the change.
A nice product, no doubt about it! I'd still stick to SONAX BSD as a drying aid because not only it's economical (under £7 in 🇬🇧) it can clean, protect and shine as you dry so it's a perfect combination for the mid of the week pressure wash at the local garage when the car is still reasonably clean but just needs light dirt taken care of.
@@autodetailingpodcast ...Just wondering.. But wouldn't a chamois cloth do just as well as using a drying aid and micro fiber?
you know what i'm sticking with, bro :->
Great video as usual Jimbo ! Better than Megs Xpress Spray wax you think ?
Yep. I really still enjoy my Xpress wax for drying aid and little protection. Great shine and i do all the windows streak free ! I think the key for Xpress is 1 or 2 sprays max per pannel !
Oh yeah forsure the gal is very economical! Great for interior protections too. I like using express wax after any All in one polishes to remove any polish I didn't get to when buffing off
Comments
1- You sprayed the TW 1st
2- You sprayed more on the TW side
3- You wiped the TW side last
4- There was almost no water when you sprayed the eagle one side
5-Product activates with water, less water = less activation
6- TW side more product, more water, more dwell time
Bonus points at the start of the video the unprotected TW side was sheeting water faster so my guess is that there was some slight protection there already.
good to use after a wash correct boss?
Maybe it was just the lighting but I thought the left side looked better
Have you ever thought about doing a review on Surf City Garage products??
After the second application I was hoping that you will do the water test before applying the iron remover, but it is not a big deal. Not impressed by these two products at all. IMHO Meguiar’s Fast Finish is better option as drying aid and sealing the surface than these two products.
I still prefer Seal and Shine over any other product including Meguiar’s HCW
Nice hood Jimbo!
That used to me my favorite go to drying aid. (Turtle Wax) Not very durable at all but extremely quick and easy to use without streaking. But then came Beadmaker.... 😁
@@autodetailingpodcast
I got just over a month with Beadmaker but the TurtleWax "Wax and Dry" usually lasted up to the next car wash or approximately a week.
Can you apply tw wax and dry spray on a dry car??
So on last rinse grab the turtle wax & dry to give you a lot more time to dry. Especially on top area of vehicle. Great review. I live in area where temps are averaging 115° during the summer. I will be using turtle was and seal n shine while I dry.
Honest question.. Why wasn’t the panel as flat before the wax was applied, compared to when all of it was removed? The right side appeared to be sheeting a bit faster to begin with.
Great video. Thanks!
Good veido I live in east tennessee and I get the turtle wax , wax and dry at the dollar store for 5, dollars and 50 cents
Good vid but I still think drying with air is the best. Most swirls and scratches come from drying, even with an aid.
Someone is a little sensitive. Why is everyone labeled as a hater when they don’t agree with someone? You have a negative attitude towards the subject of your video to begin with, you get what you put into it.
Congrats on new panel, but did you get a truck hood or something? Its hugh!!
Yes a new test panel
Why dont you just take 2 of the most readily available interior detail sprays and do a video then? Most people worry more about the exterior of their ca because its exposed to the elements more than the interior. I feel most interior detail sprays are pretty much the same anyway.
Jimbo I agree the label department guy from eagle one is now on unemployment for good reasons
Can i use this product when i wash my ceramic coated car as maintaining? Or better dry the car properly and use another product as a top coat on the ceramic? I actually look for extra shine gloss look than hydrofobics. Please advise.
What if I treated with tw wax dry. Then hit the rain. Then parked car in garage overnight. Will I see water spots in the morning? Thanks.
ill have to try. i currently use superior formula 4 spray wax-o'reilly auto
My question doesn't have anything to do with this particular video. I'm sorry
However, is it possible to stack sealants? For instance, I love the look of my wife's car after I've washed it and applied Beadmaker, but it's protection doesn't compare to Turtle Wax S&S. Could you later those together? Does it change durability?
Hi Jim. Can you recommend a good carnauba paste wax one with no added polymers or synthetic Ingredients everything I look at has added synthetic ingredients and I don’t need that because my paint is fully corrected.
Wonder if you added some of the turtle wax to a bucket of water and washed the car with it, would it reduce spots as you go?
Was that the biggest hood you could find? Just kidding! Love the new hood, keep up the great vids.
LPFSTheFett go big or go home apparently was my motto without me even knowing it. Haha
How often should iron remover be used?My vehicle is 9 months old I have been using Turtle Wax Ice car wash with a Mother’s Clay bar 2 Ice spray detailer, and Ice spray wax.
I would say as needed honesty. If your keeping up on your car like you mentioned I would be surprised if you need to even do it once a year
Burn the clear coat on the old hood so you can show everyone what it looks like . Thanks for the videos .
Turtle Wax as you dry is something I have used for years. It's well priced, last a long time, smells great, amazing
I guess it's pretty off topic but does anyone know a good site to stream newly released series online ?
@Miller Yusuf Lately I have been using FlixZone. Just search on google for it =)
@Jericho Kayson yea, I have been using Flixzone for months myself :D
@Jericho Kayson thanks, I signed up and it seems like a nice service =) I really appreciate it !
@Miller Yusuf You are welcome =)
