- Mozhui fought the ULB Polls on a BJP ticket, defeating Hayina Tungoe of the NPF. Mozhui received a total of 172 votes while Tungoe received a total of 133 votes. Sibeule aged 71 from NDPP was the oldest female candidate to win from Ward 6 under Peren Town Council.
