Went to BMCC then Columbia after (Ivy League)... They weren't kidding with their slogan - "start here, go anywhere". Loved my time at BMCC, hands down the best academic experience in my life.
I also went to an Ivy League (UPenn) for undergrad and I started in BMCC right after high school. I miss BMCC so much especially the library and the awesome views.
@@samia6888 YESS Chambers street area is awesome (relaxing by the water in between classes 😌). Most of all I miss the people. Such a diverse interesting group.

I honestly like community college because I feel like it’s a good transition and you can work if you want to. Alsooo I love your hair! I’ve been trying to get an ashy blonde color just like that!
I definitely think there is a bit of a stigma, but as you mention...It’s what you make it. For me personally I should have started off with community college. I went to John Jay and and Lehman college in my first year of college and realized I was wasting Money because I was confused and had no idea what I wanted to do. I then went to WCC TO be a paramedic. Welp that didn’t work lol so 6 years later I am getting my degree online. Can’t wait to be done lol

@@TimTim__ik this is a late comment response. But CC such as BMCC offer a program called “ASAP” that covers tuition, textbook and transportation costs while u attend, however you have to make sure you remain a full time student and are a freshman student applying I believe
