Hi from oz mike. Theonly reason you have starting issues with those duetz engines is you live in the wrong country. Lol. I have 2009 714 and it starts easy every time and there is no def. For those who dont know a -5 C is a big frost and 5C day is bloody cold. And you dont know what a hot day is. Lol. My thanks for your entertaining videos.

For LED´s - put two big bars on the roof - one front and one back, then figure out where else you need it and place lights accordingly. I hate original lights because they are only there to make the tractor look cool in brochures. Nothing else. Otherwise, some of the halogen lights are very good as well, and there is a volume of light and a quality of light. LED is volume, Halogen is quality, and Xenon as well. LED will f up your depth perception.
Also, put small lights above and around the driver side stairs, at the hookup, under the hood. Anywhere it feels right. Anywhere you want to check daily. Like motor oil, hydraulics....

You could even put a small rear mounted sprayer on the back of Ernie & it could double as a counter weight & be full of water for fire fighting duties? I realise you have your true equipment needs covered but I am just scratching my head to think of a great use for Ernie, he reminds me of an old MF 165 we farmed with back in the 1980 & nostalgia has possibly got the better of me. Sometimes you lose money but sometimes you make money or break even.. Example, the Fendt 1167 I used for 2 seasons sold it back to the dealer for the same price as I paid. I ran that tractor at no cost for years due to the rising costs of equipment. Now, normally you pay that difference going into something different or new but in this particular situation I didn't due to the Case 580s were on ground for a year and were also cheaper than new. Sometimes you win but sometimes you lose. 🙂
