Thank you for doing this video! It's a great review of the boat. I'm buying a 290 SDX, and enjoyed watching this. But, please be careful not to share misinformation. Docking lights are not "headlights". In fact, it's illegal to use them like headlights. If the water is 15 feet deep, you should use a scope of at least 7 times depth, or 90 feet of rode... not "25 Mississippi". One can use a little paint, or tie a ribbon on the rode every 5 feet so you know how much is out there. Trim tabs aren't really for "hands free" steering. Running with both batteries all the time is a good way to forget, and kill them both at the sandbar. It's better to use only one, and switch which one you are using each time out. This helps "exercise" the batteries, which improves longevity. And, if you run the stereo too long and kill a battery, you still have one in reserve to start the engine.

What plug and what does that plug do?
What part of the video?
@@thekidcansell I think it was the drain plug, that you were talking about. That you have to make sure you have it in before dropping boat in.
Yes sir, goes under the out drive, stays in while the boats in the water. If you keep it on a lift year round, stays in year round.
