There is no evidence that all the music and instrumental music are haram or forbidden for Muslims to listen to. And Dr. Zakir Naik did say that some instruments are halal.... Even there is no direct reference for music to be haram in Quran...
Imam al-Ghazali, reported several hadith and came to the conclusion that music in and of itself is permitted, saying: "All these Ahadith are reported by al-Bukhari and singing and playing are not haram.
I also came here to say that Mashallah brother don't listen to those who says some music is halal. And for those I want to say that this sopore anthem is haram because they are abusing.. And why should we listen to music if can listen to quran recitation..
