Well, if you haven't done expert or master mode yet, then after you finish your current game you have more challenges awaiting you. Not to mention single class challenges, single weapon type challenges, special world seeds or just building cool stuff.
Already beat the game but I don't care I'll still watch this video because I have good memories of watching your tutorials when beating 1.3 2years ago.
If you fight her during the day these are the things I recommend, Armor: Hallowed Gear: -Brain of Cuthulu -Master Ninja Gear -Celestial shell - and 4 more accessories to boost your damage (All menacing) For mobility what I used was the witches broom, if you are in normal mode use the cosmic car key. For weapons just use a weapon that you are comfortable with that does lots of damage. And finally for potions he pretty much explains them at 24:19 - 27:25

me and my friend decided to do it at daytime after killing the moonlord, he got the last prism, while i died countless times he managed to kill her in 1 minute or so, last prism is too OP
1:20 I don't know if this actually works but, i usually farm the Prismatic lacewing on Blood moon, because if i not wrong, the spawn of mobs increase a little bit on this event. If this works, let's say that is just optional, but if you have problems finding it for some reason, well...
thanks finally got the insignia(i got the rainbow cursor my first try and starlight which was what i want cuz im melee i also did it in day time to get the terraprisma because a summon is useful no matter what class)thanks i was stuck on her really needed the soaring insignia that was my man point of getting it.
NOTE: I found the aerial bane to be not only stronger then the tsunami, but also the phantasm especially against multiple targets. So if you are good at aiming I highly recommend aerial bane for both the EOA and moonlord.

We did a whole episode of our master mode multiplayer playthrough just fighting the Empress. Because we died a bunch of times and had to gear up some more. That was recorded well before this guide. xD

Do you have tips on the 2nd Ethereal Lance at daytime? She always blocked me from dodging it by flying in place. My mobility is asphalt, swiftness potion, Master Ninja gear and Spooky wings.

So let me get this straight. You don't need ANY potions or items that give you defense, health regen, reduced damage, dodge, none of these help you because this entire fight is ONE SHOT MECHANICS. Wrath and Rage potions are the only two potions that can possibly help you. This fight is incredibly frustrating, it's nothing but mechanics?
Long. I usually make it all the way from the middle of the world out to one edge of the map, just to be safe. Doesn't actually have to be quite that long, though.
You can literally cheese anything with a zenith, but that's a weapon you would normally get only after defeating the final boss at least a couple of times.
I ended up using the clentaminator and hellivators to clear the entire world of the hallow and corruption. I did this pretty early in hard mode. Will the boss spawner bugs still spawn?
Nope, but you can make artificial hallow biomes to get the critter again. I believe you need around 200 blocks of pearlstone/hallowed grass for the area to be considered a hallow biome

The cell staff may be the better option if you have it. Definitely does more damage, if the cells manage to hit her (which can be a problem even with the xeno staff).
Don't know if i just got lucky or if zenith carried me but ngl daytime EoL isn't that hard just use stuff like hallowed armor brain of confusion and master ninja gear then just fly around. Rod of discord is also helpful if you don't have good movement

Great in depth guide! One quick thing to mention, dark harvest is also a good whip to use for summoner if you’ve farmed the pumpkin moon.

Stardust stuff should be enough but Terraprisma doesn't just look awesome, it's also the best summon weapon in the game

Can the butterfly to spawn it be found in your box town in the hallow bc I got unlucky with a small hallow and my town takes up almost all of it
I think that should work, although I'm not sure. As long as you have hallowed grass or pearlstone at the surface.

he's using the spectre hood which heals you for every magic attack you use but gives you -40% magic damage

With a celestial magnet and a mage emblem it can be completely negated.

No, it is dropped directly from her, but only if all damage to her is done during the day.

A mix of both luck and zenith carrying you, my opinion EoL is harder than Moon Lord
