I’m a 20 year old step momma to a three year old and now 17 weeks pregnant (and struggling) for the first time. I struggle with depression and anxiety issues and am really finding it difficult to get on with life day to day. My partner works full time and relies on me to run the house as much as I can and whenever I don’t manage to I feel like I’m letting him down. I really appreciate your motivational videos, it’s managing to help me get on with some things tonight that I’ve been struggling to force myself to get to since first thing this morning. There’s nothing worse than people who aren’t in your situation judging you when you don’t do a traditional 9-5 job as if you have no responsibilities. Thank you for respecting people who stay at home.

I will say, being a SAHM was one of the hardest things I ever did. You’re doing amazing and I know some days are hard mentally. Flip those thoughts back to positive ones as soon as they enter your mind. It feels so weird but I promise you, over time it makes such a a difference. I’m proud of you, mama!

I love to clean try bathroom floors by hand. It is so clean and sanitized once I am done!! Take it from this empty nester, you will miss these days. Your daily round isn’t cleaning your home, but rather taking care of your family by having a clean, comfortable home at the end of the day!!! Thanks for your motivation!!! ❤️

I have always thought the best way to get floors clean are down on your hands and knees to get a good scrubbing in.
Like people say one day you won't have to us everywhere or bottles need to be clean or laundry need to get done. I balance my family and my housework but God always comes first.

Yup you will miss the smudges. I am on the cusp of empty nester syndrome as my youngest adult son met a girl and he is never home....Miss his noise in the house...and although he frustrated me always leaving hand smudges on fridge or crumbs on the counter ....I miss him dearly.Dont sweat the small stuff...doesn't really matter.

Can you please tell why are you putting so many layers on the bed? I am really interested, here in Hungary we don't do this :)
This is pretty standard in the US. Fitted sheet over mattress, sheet (a thin blanket), an extra blanket if it's cold, the quilt or comforter is the thickest layer, and Allie added a coverlet (a thin top layer) just for looks. The last pink blanket she added is a throw blank for extra warmth/ looks. Hope this helps! I've always wanted to visit Hungary!
