I would say it’s even more fun that way. Hoyo games are like difficult mode of a traditional rpg game when you spend nothing; normal mode for bp Welkin players; easy mode for dolphins, and trivial for whales. I personally don’t enjoy easy mode much. Trying to get characters for their design is a different story though.

I feel like most people are misinterpreting on why ppl are mad or just not in tune with Necrit. Ppl expect him to be the “Lore” guy yet here he is, complaining and pinning his lack of knowledge about lore into events that he missed from older versions or even the fact that he’s saying that he completed everything yet didn’t even try to go for World quest important for the Lore. Instead we get a drunkard complaining about how much he lost from the casino. This is like Tectone 2.0 but tectone actually learned from his mistakes yet Necrit who is a “Lore” guy shouldn’t have had this problem in the first place.
0:50 You know, you don't have to spend on Genshin to have primos for characters. There's no rule that you have to have all of them but skipping on commissions and events certainly works against getting them at all.
From my own experience with Genshin and HSR I can say that you actually need only monthly subscription to stay hyped for new characters and at the same time do not burn out to game. Welkin moon will give you as much, as you should spend to get things you REALLY want.
If you can't control yourself, then you don't play gacha games, as simple as that. All hoyo games are fine fully f2p, and even more interesting this way as far as you are fine with skipping characters
F2P is the best way to play both games. Maybe a lil nudge here and there y'know, a battle pass or a welkin. But actually buying straight pulls is boring as fuck. It removes the thrill and allure of the chance of getting someone or not, and planning around it. If you just get everyone anyway, what the hells the point? You make your super team, you beat abyss/memory of chaos.. and then... Uhhh.. it's whatever. There's no NEED to swipe. You do so for new and fresh gameplay experiences.

hey necrit, just want to say, i've played a lot longer than you, and used to play almost everyday, i also went to an exhaustion and burnout. but you saying you have nothing to do while i'm stil sitting at tons of quests and exploration that i don't know what to do, yeah, you might take the game slower and enjoy it instead of rushing through it. also this will allow you to really consume lore stuffs cause you're taking it slowly, rushing just makes you care less about the story or characters i feel.
So he finally burned out. By the pace he's playing from the beginning, it's obvious it'll happen sometime soon. Though I'm hoping it happens after 4.2 AQ as it's the best story quest ever in Genshin... alas shame.

Imo - 4.2 archon quest is the best archon quest in Genshin but that's only underselling how good the quest actually is. It's the first time I'm unable to sell it justly except for saying, it's a must play with your utmost attention and immersion.
I started the game at day 2 and just spend money on welkin for only the past year, welkin is the best investment for the game if you login daily, clear story, and enjoy scenery for not speedrunning everything. Just enjoy the journey man, dont spend on crystal i suggest perhaps.
Imma be real, even without spending, getting burnt out on any game that you log into daily is pretty normal. Took a few months break before fontaine, and came back for 4.0 and got just as addicted as when I just started genshin.
Its funny to blame swiping attitude on Tectone when dude said the ultimate truth while playing HSR. When you buy everything, game becomes easy and there is no excitement anymore. And the worst part is when you swipe to get high constelations on first few characters it will feel bad to pull for new characters without swiping.
The story in Fontaine is a masterpiece, especially act 5 is insane from every single aspect. And the lore storm we got at the end. Oh man, it's going to be a great time for all the lore theorycrafters.

Acting as if it’s like “their” game and “they” should be the ones to dictate how one should play the game
It's not that, it's when the lore guy complains about the lack of content when there's so many important lore related side quests in the game left to do and so much exploration as well, so proclaiming that there is no content is just a lie no? It would be understandable if he says there's no actual meta content which would be true but he dosent want to follow the meta either nor is he motivated to 36* the abyss 💀
*Every Gacha games* are like piece of paper, they burn-out really fast for not Gacha addicts or normal player.
So yeah I never believe there is a "Better" gacha game, all of em are the same.
Another Gacha game is not the great way to cope with burn out from previous gacha game, it will get it worst.
thats cope. He burnt out on spending on gacha game. He barely plays genshin since he said he dont even do daily commissions and im sure as hell he havent done any worldquest since 3.5
@@MefoWho Nah, it is just obvious that is the biggest flaw of Gacha games, it makes you a slave which takes out the fun and instead it became your part-time job. He is a content creator so even he didn't really enjoy playing it he still opening it for "spending resin or trailblazer power." He came for the lore and story in the first place so once he finished that part there is no more content out of it then back to waiting part. And that is copium.
Burn out is faster in Gacha games.
@@aoihitori well if you play genshin, you know his lore engagement is like a kiddies pool. Thats why i said all the hype for him is characters, because he doesn't have the context to be excited for lore.
Also burnout speed is subjective.
speak for yourself, cuz i played multiple different mobile gacha games in the past and stopped playing partly because the f2p route got worse but most importantly because they had little to nothing else to provide.
genshin, however, has so many thing going on beside the main questline if you want to explore those options. genshin happening to be a gacha game doesn't negate the good parts of it, but if you can only see genshin as gacha, i guess there's nothing i can do about it but pity you ツ

You can't re-educate someone to became gacha junkie like you do, the world doesn't revolve around you. And therapy can't save you obviously.
