    There are many cases of children that die drowning in water by accident. That kid seemed like the type that is stubborn given that she disobeyed him and continued to play with water and didn't turn off the tap. Sometimes you gotta be strict, not extremely but to the point that your kids will understand what's wrong and what is right.
    Hats off to Jackson and his way of handling

      yeah i was thinking the same thing, what if tub gets filled, and when she is bending down, she accidentally falls into it, and drowns? with kids, you cant ever lift your eyes off of them. they wud just do stupid shit.

    • @kaylinsmith6921
      @kaylinsmith6921 2 місяці тому +5

      @@timelyferryIt takes 2 inches of water to drown an adult. It only has to cover your mouth and nose. It's so dangerous for little kids to be in the bathroom unsupervised. I'm not very often in favor of scaring kids, but in cases like this? Fear is good.

      I don't want to be seen as rude and i hope this is not portrayed as being rude but i think it was necessary to do that because he is teaching them that actions have consequences. Did you see how close they were to the water. Imagine if one of them fell and drowned because they didn't see anything wrong with playing with water. I think it was appropriate in that situation. Plus they are kids one wrong move and something terrible may happen. I am kind if happy that he scolded them because some parents just let kids do whatever they want and accidents occur. I liked that he thought carefully about everything he did. He wasn't just reacting, he was thinking about how to react to best teach them that what they did was not ok. So many parents just think that yelling all the time is good discipline. I can't tell you how many times I'm in the store and I see a parent screaming at their kid for seemingly no reason. Children start to tune that out after a while. If you yell all the time it doesn't mean anything. And then how he instantly became affectionate towards her after she agreed not to play with water anymore was the perfect thing to do. Remaining mad or holding a grudge after discipline negates the desired effect. Sorry this is so long, I know a lot about child development for my job and I'm just super impressed with how he handled the situation.

    This is how a dad should act some of my friends started to hate on him bc of how he scolded the kids and scared them but I see a great future dad that can actually make his kids listen to him and not hurt themselves and the fact that he said that he didn’t leave bc he didn’t want her to get hurt that is just like wat a dad would do

    Admire how this was handled. He didn't leave to make sure nothing bad happened with the child (slipping on the floor, bumping and getting injured, etc). This is exactly how accidental drownings happen, so kids need to know that playing with water by themselves can be just as dangerous as playing with a stove unattended.

    I don't think this was the best way to deal with this...just scared the child. The child doesn't know WHY it's wrong but they know they're being scolded.
