Front 9 Here - ua-cam.com/video/ETaLhcc1nsA/v-deo.htmlsi=89F-E32bWcEnGM4V This was a BLAST. Just filmed at the new golf course today with a WORLD CHAMPION (and a scrub). F9 there coming tomorrow. Can't wait to show you who I'll be filming with in about 10 hours in the morning. Time for bed, you guys are the BEST!!!
I love courses like where placement is key for landing disc rather than playing long holes or must make yet are not a 100% scramble or a mega power thrower wooded line throw. I use odd discs for longer approach throwing or very short midrange using in throw a midrange like putter similar to an old XD, I have a disc Prostyle plastic Lighting Upshot #2 in bag since 2005 was 166 grams when new or putter like midrange in bag currently since 2016--2017 a Shark in Star and will get G-Star when I need to or run out of backups as G-Star is very similar in dome and will work even better as I do not like using high profile flat top putters for approach shots, too touchy and more of an overstable approach disc is a bit beefy for more practical approach.
Proctor was one of my favorite pros last year such a cool dude. At ledgestone he stopped to tell the 15 and under card good luck as he was walking between holes. Made their day.
This video (and the front 9) were very informative. Can't remember watching a disc golf video where they interviewed a pro to see how they prepare for a tournament as much as you did with James in this video. I think it takes it one step further than what uli, jerm and sexton do as well as Brodie and Ezra in their practice round videos. Great content. Just have fun at the tournament. Don't worry so much how you score or even play. Just take it all in. Celebrate your good shots instead of beating yourself up on your bad ones. I think you'll play better that way. Good luck.
This is the content I've been waiting for from you!! Get yo' butt on tour so we can get these sort of inside looks. I friggin love James too, very cool he answered a bunch of random questions while getting his practice in. Massive shout out from the DG community to all 3 of these guys, I don't think they have any clue how much this sort of behind the scenes content brightens my day. Bodanza you are living the dream and we are living it vicariously with you.
*brightens our day :) they may not think this way but so many people around the world look up to them and really looking foward to see them (atleast here in norway were very few of us have even seen 1 pro)
Hearing James's approach to putting was really helpful, and it's cool seeing the different personalities of other players and knowing that you can be a chirper the whole round like Eric or just quietly do your thing like Chandler and there's no shame in either one. Thanks for doing the extra work for us.
I was playing the worst golf right before my first real ball golf tournament. I went in thinking I was going to do horrible but I ended up shooting my best round ever and got 3rd place. Confidence before a tournament doesn't mean sh1t!
If pdga is correct you are playing first round with Simon? Would be nice to get some thoughts about how it differs playing with him in a video and in a tournament!
Getting there, feel good about the golf course, have a full day to figure out the beast better but much better rested and feeling good about the game overall. Gotta trust that I can putt and should do alrifht
@@BodanzaDiscGolf You Putt from so much further then most players, I do too but I am switching putters to a putter like midrange or a midrange like putter past 35--40 feet given day and wind an out to about. You look like you are putting out nearly where I am using a faster disc yet still putting.
Was just checking out the top scores at my local course the other day on UDisc, and noticed James Proctor is way up there with a score that looks impossible haha.

good luck tomorrow man! i seen you are on a card with simon! What a dream! we got nothing to lose, have fun dude!

He was also following Ella hansen all the time around on the beast in Finland and cheering on all the woman's playing. really nice guy
Love the practice rounds with both Eric and James. Do this again!

This was a lot of fun to watch after watching Brodie and Ezra A. on their channels. I'm so glad you're playing this event.
When are yall playing Roy G?!?! Ahhhhh!!! It's so cool having the tour here.

You have to keep it light out there. Keep practicing with James and Eric. Less stress=less tightness.
These two videos were awesome. Hoping for more content like this for the upcoming season.
That's a fun practice squad, JP is so good, fun stuff!!
Good luck brotha! 🤘 pumped ur out there, keep killin it!
wow super awesome watching you some fun practice rounds with the pros! Good luck! you'll do great!
Hope it’s going well! You’re the man Bodanza!
If your tournament play is as good as your content, you'll be on the podium. Enjoyed being taken along for the ride. Crush it, bro.
Love watching him. Such a smooth good throw. Very good at explaining everything for people that don’t know much like me
You sound like you want to make love to him stop being such a weird simp
Wow you gotta put TJ and Eric Oakley on the same video, a real ying- yang vibe! Great video
Felt like I was on the card with you! What an experience to play that course especially 17 & 18.
Dude forgot he was mic'ed up, some light shit talking at 15:25 haha
I was looking for this comment
He was talking about Cale Leviska. Dr. Smooth is Cale's nickname. Must have been on the adjacent hole.
Feel like I'm in Waco with all these practice rounds. Thanks and good luck guys. I wanted to come but got a jury duty summons. Maybe Austin.
Good luck Anthony! 🤜🤛
This was probably such a fun round. What a crew!
This is just so cool to see. Thanks. Sooooo excited for your journey and this stop on tour for you. Good luck from a stranger/fan
James is the friend we all need. He's gonna talk shit the entire time and not let you give excuses but in an encouraging way 😂
Looking great as usual ❤
Eric throwing that M3 so well makes me really happy. That’s my go to mid the last 3 years
Looks like Anthony has Simon on his card this Morning!! Let's go brother you got this!!!
Rootin for ya buddy 👍🏻
Let’s f’n Go!! Wacko time!!!
That I was the first person to recognize you on a disc golf course way back when, just blows my mind bro. Congrats on how far you've come!
Which vivos are those?
Also, can I just say, the tour should hire this man. Get folks invested in the players as people and not just for their performances day to day.
We are rooting for you brotha! If you’re seeing this don’t give up and just play your game.
"It's both more professional, and more fun" - I agree! This was a unique but very good vibe video, best one yet imo.
The idea of playing disc golf barefoot, especially at a pro-level course, just makes me fear Kyle Klein's game even more.
I gotta say Oakley is like cowbell, need more! I was LMAO

Loved the video and the course.. good questions asked as well… who’s the next pro you’ll play with, Brodie maybe?
This is one of the few courses on tour where 400 feet of accuracy is plenty. And you’ve got that for sure, so good luck tomorrow!
He's freakin massive man
absolutely doesn't help that I'm the one holding the camera hahaha
@@BodanzaDiscGolf all good man appreciate you representing us mere mortals, give'm hell bud.
James and I share the last name and the Proctologist nick name was always a joke throughout highschool.
Glad to see it hasn’t changed 😂

Man I could watch bodanza videos 24/7
Hey bud, congratz on shooting better then drew and Eric. Didn’t let the course beat you. Good luck on second track and rounds 3/4.
How do you feel about your game plan for waco Bodanza?

I've always called him, "Progdor". It's a play on Trogdor, a mythical dragon.
The disc that’s similar to a roc3 is the same as the new mint disc taco I’m almost 100% sure.
Was just checking out the top scores at my local course the other day on UDisc, and noticed James Proctor is way up there with a score that looks impossible haha.
Just so you'll know beforehand...
They had to redesign Roy G. The new layout at Roy G is easier. Probably 4 or 5 strokes easier.
Cook
lol I wonder if Eric said something like, “I stopped smoking pot and I’ve played better since.”
You gotta feel good just shooting E at the Beast right?
Dude ive always said DOC PROC
Did I say I'd sell a kidney for this round, make it my kidney and liver
I guess ratings are somewhat accurate, eh?
Proctor ❤
WAR DANZA.
Following James around like a drooling puppy.
All for him to make the comment about Bodanza wanting to go home after he sees Lake Waco course
@@ShakespeareanBroncobuster He was talking about Cale Leviska. Dr. Smooth is Cale's nickname. Must have been on the adjacent hole.
@@ColKlim98 ahhhh! Thanks for the context. I was wondering why he dissed him while around hot mics
Hate from Houston. Hope you fail.
Dude please get a monopod or a gimbal! This video is making me nauseous :(
