It's a reference to his character in the anime Working!! where he says "Babanji!!". Also the way he says it is just hilarious. It became a running joke between the cast and he would do it at other events too

well it’s really funny for me as Chinese. The dishes are all Chinese food and the way he pronounced it is very cute. (The expression also add to it
