When i first heard about the game, i thought that this game was going to be for babies and preschoolers but when i played this game a few years ago, i fell completely in love with it. It really is a amazing game visually and musically. It a perfect example of dont judge a book by its cover.
ah my first kirby game, i used to play this with my friend over and over, all the time when we were in like kindergarten. Ying Yarn is one of the funniest villians in any game i've played, both the main characters have good reasons to go on this quest, and this is probably the only dedede theme i could potentially sleep too still love it :)
This Kirby game became my favorite. Often I would think, "This is clearly made for kids instead of all ages. Why am I playing a game for babies?" At that time a lot of franchises were making their games easier and with a lot more hand holding explanations, but the pleasantness of playing such a cute game kept me going. Plus an occasional difficult moment. I took a break from the game because I realized I was sinking so much time into getting gold metals that it was affecting my real life. After the frustration of not succeeding at a few levels faded, I found myself craving the music. Every time I saw the case my reaction was "Oh, there's that nice Kirby game I haven't finished yet" instead of "I still haven't finished that game yet."
Epic Yarn has what Kirby feels like for me personally. One that radiates happiness and comfort whenever I play it. The soundtrack is different from every Kirby games, being piano and music box which amplify the bedtime vibe I have yet to finish my own playthrough though, but I truly love Epic Yarn and was sad it's underrated.

I have yet to finish my own playthrough though, but I truly love Epic Yarn and was sad it's underrated.
