I feel like the reason MNET is promoting ChaeKura like this is so that they can somehow improve the Japan & Korea relation. There's still a thin line dividing both countries, even the slightest tick can cause chaos. With the help of ChaeKura, it gives everyone hope that yes, Japanese & Koreans can get along well. Hoping it will stop all the hate IZ*ONE is receiving from both countries. (In Korea, the Anti-Japanese. And in Japan, the Anti-Koreans)

Sakura herself literally said "we dont receive formal dancing training, we are taught simple choreography but we dont train nor exercise formally" Sakura's performance is remarkable now, she had the littlest time to catch up and shes doing fantastic to make up for years of not training similarly to korean trainees.
Hello Oppa like @tepunto said, Japanese trainees don’t receive formal training and usually do practice on their own time by themselves. A lot of Japanese trainees also rely on their charm and variety skills to debut since it’s “more important”. At least that’s what most of the Japanese contestants said on PD48, when they were surprised by the skill level of the Korean trainees.

I love how Mnet try to show JLine skills bcuz they are in Japan, nako and Sakura are pretty well known in Japan but for Hiichan it must be special bcuz she was the center for a moment and she received a lot of screams when she appears on screen , team 8 members are the closest to the fans but they aren't "big enough " to be senbatsu nor kami 7 memebers(with some exceptions)
