Yuji really be luring another guy to men's bathroom and said "now he's in my turf".
Ayo? 🤨📸
The coolest part of the Choso-Yuji fight is that they are both novice fighters, but they are both complete geniuses when it comes to hand-to-hand combat. Yuji has been in brawls, but he's only been in high-level fights since becoming a jujutsu student, which occurred within the last year. Choso has literally never been in a situation where he wasn't able to immediately kill his target aside from fighting Gojo a few hours ago.
But put them together, have them fight, and watch their latent potentials explode.
It really is wild that a fight between two novices takes so much inspiration from The Raid
I agree with they are cold and badass here❤
Yeah you can even see Choso adapt in real time in the bathroom scene. When he stabbed down at yuji and his knife exploded in his face, he both got a sense for how long the blades would last, and he got the idea to use the blood to blind yuji. You see him do just that in the next scene with the knuckle blades.
He's so cool man.
Fun fact: the scene with Choso holding his head after killing Yuji is commonly known as "Choso tweaking"
Choso was the definition of “it’s on sight.” Before Yuji even landed it was on.
I agree with you he cold with it
Some great notes for people who didn't catch them. Since Choso lacked combat experience he learned as he fought Yuji, Yuji used choso's blood technique to blind him so he could get a punch off, but a few seconds later Choso used that same technique on Yuji to blind him so HE could land a hit, also the song used in this fight is a remix of the song used for when Yuji and Nobara fought Eso and Kechizu.
Also note that Yuji started the bathroom fight in the EXACT same way as he did with his 1v1 against Hanami. Splashing water, jumping in and launching that triple kick attack! Which to me, semi implies Choso learned from Hanami. That's a fun lil detail I always will appreciate
6:10 Not only that, but the color choices correspond to Choso's brothers. On the left is purple, same color as Eso's eyes. On the right is green, same color as Kechizu's body. Both are connected by blood to Choso in the middle, who can "sense" all of his brothers.
They really played around witz the background and the lighting. So much visual storytelling in this ep. At 9:27 when Chozos attacks were explained it even showed different symbols representing them, to not keep it a borring close up face shot.
I fell şad for his bother😢
She doesn't know what will happen in Shibuya. All I can say is to have fun while it lasts.
She’s so close
Yorichi tenki yowai mo gambare gambare
She hasn’t seen anything yet….yet.
You don't have fun in shibuya, shibuya gonna have fun with you
You guys can't shut up
This is the BEST episode in terms of Aesthetic. It's just soooo Beautiful.
and choreography
ep 16>>>>>
no. like no no no. animationwise yes. but its pew pew look at effects. EP 13 is GOATED@@navi7402
The scale of the following fights are why this fight gets outshined, but this is easily the best choreographed fight of the season, if not the whole show.
"Are you sad because you are a jjk fan ?, or are you a jjk fan because you are sad ?"
What you missed in the 10 seconds before the outro was Yuji calling Choso his "brother" in his memory that didn't exist.
Nah she noticed
Seems she just didn’t register what that meant tho
Gotta love the reference to the Raid with Yuji vs Choso. In a season full of peak moments that fight was one of the most peak moments among them
I agree with you l love it amzing fight ❤
This episode feels the most "cinematic" in the season, the camera, the action, the composition of the shots and the self cointained fight with almost no other plot points happening, its a ride
In my opinion this episode has the best animation out of the entire season.
It is my favorite fight for sure.
There are other grander, more expansive fights but this one has the cleanest animation and style.
the choreography was peak
Absolutely! We do have official works on YT from animators where we see which shots got cut n such for 2x17 (one being a shot where Sukuna dodges Mahoraga's attacks and kicks him in a cool POV shot).
2x13 got perfectly fleshed out and it looks magnificent. ESPECIALLY paired with the music and the pure hands of the second round of this fight. Simply perfect.
As a manga reader choso its my favorite character
Understandable, mine's Maki
I really love your reactions in your videos, they’ve been awesome in the way you reacted to them. I had so much fun watching along with you
and respectfully 5:57 It's not following the rule of thirds. long story short about rule of thirds in terms of cinematography
Easily, you put subjects on right side or left side on the grid lines to create smooth connection between subjects and scenes.
Imagine when you watch a two-camera interview and both folks are on one side, left and right, even they're not in the same frame.
But It still makes you feel like they're really connected and talking smoothly. That how rule of thirds works
13:37 you can feel it from his positioning in the frame, his gaze, and his actions. There's definitely something going on on the left side.
Your brain automatically senses there's something important happening on the other side.
It's all about how the character's positioning and actions guide your attention and build anticipation for what's to come. That’s rule of thirds.
5:57 It's about the rule of symmetry, particularly vertical symmetry.
6:23 You can tell from how balanced it is on both sides of the frame the colors and effects are balanced too.
This rule makes you focus at the center of the frame.
And when the subject is centered like that, it's like they're showcasing somethings their actions, emotions, or power to ensure the audience doesn't miss something important from that scene
Therefore 5:57
your eyes are naturally look at Choso. You don't have any doubts where to look or what's coming next because it shows that something important is happening with him in that scene.
It's a seamless way to guide the audience's attention and keep them fully engaged in the story, and that is rule of symmetry.
P.S. Sry for the long comment, but I've really gotten into your reaction videos and want to talk about them. LUV YOUR WORKS PLS KEEP GOING !
I really love how they utilized the red and blue lightning in the bathroom fight scene. Reminded me a lot of cyberpunk edgerunners!
If you go back around 9:30 into the video, where Yuji is by those different colored fluorescent lights, each picture on it represents a move from Choso’s blood manipulation. If you didn’t catch it. I think it’s an Easter Egg.
Using an instrumental version of Cold Rain's song from the Yuji's fight against the younger brothers is such an amazing detail. It also fits with how this times things go differently than before.
19:08 damn he knows the mix
Oh boy, shes having so much fun...
This is gonna be an interesting time with rest of the season
Breaking Choso's hand before he uses Convergence is easier said than done. Though since he's half curse I imagine he can mend it rather quickly.
Choso best boy
I agree with you
Let's go Choso, beat him!!! As a older brother, Choso got my respect. I wasn't cheering for Yuji not one bit lol
Bro same choso is my favorite of the curses
Me too ❤
Yuuji really out here collecting schizophrenic friends that call him brother.
This is literally stated later
This is my favourite anime fight episode. period. I dont really care for stuff that happens later but this is the pinnacle of fight choreography, storytelling and immersive experiencec. I'm so curious what your reaction will be
Why the l love when king saskna com iş amzing he cold villain to me❤ l agree with you
Choso literally got it back in blood
This episode is PURE CINEMA
Best choreography for the raid fight i still go back to watch this just for how peak it is!
Choso is HIM!!
I'm fairly certain the sewing machine I have at work would pull cloth at the speed of sound if I put the pedal down all the way.
5:05 i think Alicia was looking for the word recoil😂 but i do get it why she think it like that LMAO
My FAV FIGHT OF THE ENTIRE SEASON
20:58 "these edibles ain't shi"
Honestly this is my favorite fight, in like any anime ever
This is probably my favorite fight of the season just strait hands in the bath room its so sick
how were you doing a live reaction on twitch without getting copyrighted from japan? just wondering
I thought JJK was cooked on this channel, I'm happy to see that it's not.
Choso is my King... that is all!
You're meant to be confused by this one lol
19:40 nah he's not cheating, your goat just got READ LIKE A BOOK
And now the story shifts
I'd like to suggest a series if you have the time for it (or until you finish another series). Also made by Studio Mappa: *_Dorohedoro_*
23:40 "Who the hell is Geeto?"
Geto tge villain who die in movie
Well Yuji is out of commission for awhile… we’re cooked.
Oh, you sweet summer child
19:36
What? How's that cheating 🗿?
The 'HI SUKUNA' was way too seductive 😂
Lemme go fc senbonzakura on project sekai real quick brb
It's a weird reaction for the memories part. 🤔
Maybe she already got the spoiler? lol
Like, everyone (including myself) get so confused the first time they read/watch Choso breakdown. 😂
I know you like to analyze a lot, but you don't have to go the extra mile to try and impress everyone by clarifying that you could guess it or understand it multiple time. We know you're smart and very experienced with these kinds of stuff. Though you probably find it fun to do so.
I should have commented this on the last episode but that Nanamin hair pull is a text book female fan service. recently i watched a video on it it was interesting to see what is "the female gaze".
LOCK IN
138,3,1.
So yeah, Yuji lost that fight.
Fifty-eighth video asking.
What I am asking is a reaction to the anime Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann since I believe in the Alicia that believes in us!
Lets all shout it together peeps, CHOSO BEST BOII !_!
It’s already on my list but won’t be done for a while.
@@Aliciaxlife The amount of joy i got reading this! That is awesome! Now I just have to wait. :3
Where is The Boys reaction
When Choso got hit with the VHS-edible, you can see cinematic black bars flash in and out of frame, like he is being forced into watching a movie...
Kinda like someone else we know who likes clapping and big women? *winkwink*
The fifteenth video asking for a DanMachi Reaction.
Reason for it, the amout of precious beans, intense moments, interesting fights and funny momets its like the perfect concoction for her to react.
And yes this will mean I will be asking for 2 anime shows at the same time, and its going to kill me remembering this all the time. But i believe in myself! I can do this!
First
You know at this point I really wouldn't be that surprised if it turned out Yuji's cursed technique was to turn enemies into friends through memories.
Day 170 of asking Alicia to play Nier:Automata!!
Did ye know that itadori is a hard name to spell. I'm not good at trolling. Anyway I am gonna go to my school because someone is being possessed by a demon owl.
You can never miss a normie ahh "oh these mappa animators" on these videos
Huh
The memories thing is what Yuji did to Todo btw
Its kinda different, but im not gonna say too much
no it is not...even the Gege said it's completely different.
Yuji didn't do anything, the reasons for both are completely different
