But you know what K-Ray when people say disparaging things about Brandy's voice it's usually people who haven't listen to entire albums by her. Some of her singles have not done her voice justice. Her harmonies and vocal laying is unparalleled. She's finally getting recognition but it took too damn long .SMH!
I think most people mistake octaves or range/power for singing. Just because someone can sing with more power doesn't mean the other can't sing. Brandy is a master of her voice, range, projection, harmony, style, etc. It just takes a better ear to hear that. Also she always been recognized but I agree I think now it is even bigger and it is about dang time!
She actually does pre-record her live vocals so they are different from the record, then she lip syncs during her performance quite often. But NOBODY CARES. 😩😩😩 She sang on that track. 🔥🔥🔥

Brandy lips 30-40% of the time the other 70% is live . Singers lips very often as we know, Brandy just does it a little more often to create certain feels or if she is in a bigger space. Brandy’s voice is more light with razor precision not big and boastful so when she’s in bigger spaces she lips certain songs for sure . Either way we know what’s up 🔥
