All About Hats: HERMES, PRIX DE DIANE, STEVE CLARK on A-MUSE-Ment Channel #25

In Part 4 of my "All About Hats" series I share a personal story about my favorite hat, given to me by the House of HERMES in 1987. I wore this (now vintage) hat to the PRIX DE DIANE Horse races dressed head to toe by the designer at HERMES in 1987.
In these photos I am wearing an orange colored ostrich skin suit and a wheat colored straw hat. There was a yellow and orange flower print chiffon Hermes scarf pinned to the back where the wheat straws attached.
I went to the races with my fiance' Steve Clark from Def Leppard who is wearing the black Top Hat, our friend Mark Kappe (in bowler hat.) Mark is the proprietor of the Brasserie de Saint Louis en L'isle in Paris and my niece Briana wearing a large brim black straw hat. After a few glasses of champagne we got silly and traded hats around. What fun! It was a day at the races to remember. Enjoy!
