The video is quite a few years old, probably should update! (grin) These days we use Internal frame packs such as the blue widow & X2, these packs have meat carrying capabilities! We do return with them on last load too! ElkNUt
what do you do when the elk is down? the super day is prettyt limited to packing meat out! make one trip out with as much meat as posible? then bring the pack board?
Thanks for your comment! To be honest I do not exactly remember what was in that pack for 1st aid, most likely the basics! We have revised that portion & have added a couple things. Email me at elknut@elknut.com & I will share that new info with you! Thanks! ElkNut/Paul
I carry the WY Saw in the pack as well as a few other essentials, this video is also many years old, we've updated a few things! Thanks! I carry a .357 mag & a sheath knife on my belt so do not consider these things as part of what's in the pack! If you'd like an updated version of what we carry email me elknut@elknut.com Thanks! ElkNut
The one other thing I thought you were missing was a small pack saw...and I don't know about you but in back country I also have a set of rain gear and extra clothing, but just up in the mountains, all I ever seem to need is a knife, saw, .41 mag, tags, and eltrical tapes.....thanks for the vid!

@1ElkNut1 If I didn't have a .41 magnum, I would probably be carying a .357!! Such a nice shooting gun!
Bul-pacs brand backpacks for hauling everything.
Nicely done and complete! I'm always trying to achieve the right balance and tend to error with carrying too much stuff!

Ron, thanks bud!
