How the hell anyone could watch that game and not realize that those numbers were the direct result of Daboll coaching his ass off, and Danny Dimes shutting the bed every single time Daboll asked him to make just a decent throw. Literally every single time he had to have it, he threw the most uncatchable passes, or passes that even if the receiver did manage to catch them, it slowed them down or turned them all the way around, and made it impossible for them to do anything with it. He couldn’t even manage to put the ball in the general area code of his uncovered receiver, 35 yards down field, on a free play. Threw the damn 35 yard pass, 15 yards short, and let the burnt toast CB catch it in stride, while the receiver was still trying to stop at full speed, so he could come back and Mack a tackle. Look at the track record of qbs John Mara has made franchise qbs. He wants qbs with 0 personality for some reason. Shedeur has a personality for NY though
Danny Dimes is the first QB I’ve ever seen have a go ball on a free play, that only needed to go about 35 air yards, and they under threw the ball by 15 yards, allowing the CB who got roasted off the line, to make an INT, because the WR was so far down field that they couldn’t come back to stop it, and the only thing that saved it from being an INT was the defensive offsides. The Giants are hopeless for as long as Danny Dimes is their QB. His numbers are only as good as they are, because of elite coaching trying to mask him. Every single time he needed to make any type of throw besides a bad throw, he came out and threw uncatchable passes. If Daboll had a Tua Tagovailoa to operate that offense, they would be an annual 10+ win minimum team.
What! Tua is supremely overrated. You don’t just slap a name on a team and expect 10 wins. Look at the dolphins, Tua is about to be the biggest liability in pro football. He’s not a name that should just be thrown out there nowadays to prove a point. Point is Dimes is starting at least.

Colin Cowherd is a top-notch sports commentator, but riddle me this, Batman. How does this podcast proclaim "Cowboys Are Elite" two weeks ago to Dallas being merely a team with a solid WR1? The money heading to Dak's bank account could have been saved for a quarterback in next year's draft. That part I totally agree with.
Dominating the time of possession to me is often a symptom of a struggling/inefficient offense. Yeah they kept the cowboys off the field for a decent chunk, but they also potentially burned additional chances for themselves to get another stop and another scoring opportunity. A team that spends 10min on one drive and ends up kicking a field goal does just as much harm to themselves as it does to the other team.
So Dak, the only part of the team other than CD and Micah that you like, beat a team that’s much better? And he’s just Kirk Cousin’s? Anyone who actually listens to this this has to be rolling their eyes.
Watched the Giants game last night, as a lifetime fan. I agree....we need a QB, that's it and we'll be able to compete. Jones can't make the throws or elevate everyone at around him.
@@jeremy28135 he looked like he got KOd on the 1 hit a few players earlier & his OL picked him up. he barely hit his head the 2nd time. Hard to believe he ran a route and nearly made a great catch.
I usually tend to agree with Colin's take but Dallas has a better O-line, better WR's, much more talent on defense, even at RB and and they sneak past the Giants and he says that Jones is a serviceable QB and Dak is a very good one. Sounds to me like Jones held his own against Dak.
Jones isn’t that bad, he’s good enough to win with the right pieces. I haven’t watched him much and have heard how bad he is, so expected trash. He’s better than I expected. Makes good decisions and WRs were dropping catchable balls. Cowboys look very mid for how hyped they are. Wow.
Dallas's problem at LT is that they keep assuming they can just draft and fill the spot. Some dudes need development time. Guyton will fine with development time. They should have paid Tyron Smith to stick around one year (or sought out some sort of short term vet) while Guyton spends the year developing. Of course, that would mean spending money on free agents and we can't have that.
It was not the Qb fault. I'm not a Jones fan but he had one weapon, an undersized running back. A 5ft 8 receiver. With all that the giants kept it close
Even though they won the Cowboys looked terrible the defense is just awful now they are lucky that the Giant's offense is so bad or else they would have put up 40 points on that Cowboy's defense. Parsons and Diggs are nowhere to be found now and do absolutely nothing in these games. On the other side the Cowboys offense looks so slow and one-dimensional because they can't run the ball at all and Dak has struggled to hit open receivers so far. Honestly as a Cowboys fan I think were going to have a losing season with maybe 6 wins at this point with the way they are playing unless something drastic changes.
It was as if Daniel Jones had zero awareness of how many yards were needed before he threw. A receiver would become open and he’d think “welp, this is the open guy and he’s short of the line to gain, oh well.”
As a cowboys fan I usually disagree with your takes on dallas but I think your right this time. Dallas has no defensive depth. Daron bland is still out, still struggling vs the run week to week, weapons on off are basically 88, 87, and 40 no running game, early struggles from the LT, extremely undisciplined, worst of all Jerry is still the owner/gm.
I agree as a cowboys fan. Once Jerra goes, will Stephen get a gm ? God I hope
Darnold stays a Viking, McCarthy traded to the Giants - Calling it now
Can you trade a coach??
Lol i hate JJ
A moment of silence for cowboys -5.5
A moment of celebration for Giants +5.5

So Dak, the only part of the team other than CD and Micah that you like, beat a team that’s much better? And he’s just Kirk Cousin’s? Anyone who actually listens to this this has to be rolling their eyes.
He's a drunken hater of Dak!
His disrespect of Dak is pathetic
Watched the Giants game last night, as a lifetime fan. I agree....we need a QB, that's it and we'll be able to compete. Jones can't make the throws or elevate everyone at around him.
Nabers looks concussed multiple plays earlier. Shocked he wasn't pulled
I noticed that too and pointed it out to my wife. She wasn’t near as interested as you and me 😂
@@jeremy28135 he looked like he got KOd on the 1 hit a few players earlier & his OL picked him up. he barely hit his head the 2nd time.
Wow.
These Refs keep calling imaginary penalties. It's ridiculous
I don't know if Daboll will be around after this year. Maybe, I guess we'll see
Dallas's problem at LT is that they keep assuming they can just draft and fill the spot. Some dudes need development time. Guyton will fine with development time. They should have paid Tyron Smith to stick around one year (or sought out some sort of short term vet) while Guyton spends the year developing.
Of course, that would mean spending money on free agents and we can't have that.
good takes sir
It was not the Qb fault. I'm not a Jones fan but he had one weapon, an undersized running back. A 5ft 8 receiver. With all that the giants kept it close
How can the cowboys be bad “horribly” bad as Colin says but they still beat the giants
Cowboy Defense is as soft as a baby's bottom.
Just finding a quarterback is WAY harder then it sounds
There were a couple bad drop balls by the Giants receivers as well
Jones did throw an INT at the end
It was as if Daniel Jones had zero awareness of how many yards were needed before he threw. A receiver would become open and he’d think “welp, this is the open guy and he’s short of the line to gain, oh well.”
Only difference between the Cowboys and the Giants is Dak is a grade above Danny Dimes. That is it.
We are .500 right now but we've looked very off and sloppy the last 3 weeks in a row
Colin Cowherd is hilarious in his bias. He didn't react to the Jets game last week but reacts to the Cowboys.
Dallas dropped an early easy pick earlier and secondary is banged up offensively we need to call Browns n get Amari cooper asap
Notice how CC suggests white qbs as the guys options at qb. He knows the pattern…
Drew Lock put on for his city he puts on for his city
Dallas may have four wins for the rest of this season.
