He was probably extremely nervous. This concert was a big deal. I hope he will one day just rely on his superb vocals and be transformed by the renewing of his mind. Love him so much.
Not a fan of this actually, there's some good elements but I think the extra layers make it sound over produced. The orchestral additions are campy, and the mic transitions for solos and intro were bad. I'd rather listen to the version Robert did with Bilal, Derrick hodge and Chris dave in Paris at the Jazz festival in 2014 (I think). I don't think you need more than 4 players to really make that piece shine.
