Beck is one of those few artists that challenges himself and his audience. He's a rare, and need a say, dying breed. God bless his searching musical soul.
Yep 😀
Beck's one of those awesome artists who'll change a person's life for the better. Watch out!
He did change mine! :)
Amen. For the Better
You are so right it’s an understatement 😁
Dark Star is among one of my favorite lesser known tracks by Beck. I love how he sings the chorus but gently raps the verses.
Just so consistently amazes me. Ever since I was 12 yrs old (26 now) he's been my favorite artist of all time. Hasn't changed at all in those years. He's managed to remain my number one. When anyone asks me my favourite artist I don't hesitate at all: BECK!
I remember in high school I wore out my Beck shirt (had a donkey on it with Odelay plastered on it) until it had holes in it.
Not to mention he produced the stephen malkmus album, Thurston Moore solo album and more. His touch and influence will live on for decades & decades.
Same. We're 19 days apart. Following his art inspires me.
So prophetic, an underrated futurist. "robots to teach you all the rules to delete you..."
And this is why beck is one of the greatest singer/songwriters in the last 20yr
What an insanely awesome human being.
I love Beck, man. Sincerely.
It's so cool to hear beck live like that. It sound so different from the album it's amazing.
The man's fearless.
this is amazing. would have been a dream if he recorded these versions and put out a cd.
Such ear candy! Love the instruments! Motorcade and We Dance Alone take me away.
It was broadcasted on october 31 2006
Beck is cool and humble and has great ideas
Pretty much this.
And now you are featured in his music video! WOW! :D
LOOKING FROM THE FAR EAST 3RD PARTY POINT OF VIEW SINCE 1988, THAT WAS WHAT THE ALTERNATIVE ROCK SUBCULTURE OF THE EARLY 90s TOWARDS Y2K WERE ALL ABOUT.
THAT IS ALSO WHY IT WAS OVER RUN BY TEENAGE RAGING HORMONE TITS AND ASSES BLING MUSIC TODAY.
Great!
Ahhh honey, I was so pissed to see your excellent presence here in Phoenix a few years back at what they called the Dodge. We rushed the aisles to dance and were pushed backed by vets in wheel chairs. Can you imagine? You were excellent! You are very gifted! I love you!!!!
You are JOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please come to Japan Beck!
Cellphone's Dead sounds close in style to Clap Hands, here. Love this version, too.
I like it
One of the most inventive sound ever .... nothing more to say ...
thanks for posting -this is f###cking amazing
The "hand organ thing" is a harmonium, often used in Indian Orchestras
Awesome, ty
It doesn't matter what kind of guitar he has. He's brilliant.
incredible!
Awesome.
THANK YOU for posting!!! =)
great performance:)
.Beck's a -Master Artist-
AMAZING !!
Aye like this a lot
You are Jack Kerouac Joy!!!!!!!!
I want to break dance acoustic style.
5:30 He's nice laughing))) 40:38 Hahahah LOL Beck you are so funny here)))
Beck had this band for a while. It felt like they must've been practicing stuff all the time. They tore apart and rebuilt a few songs.
(talking about the album and the stickers) "it's walked out of the package and all over your life" - I know a girl that makes The Information jewelry out of the stickers!
its nausea, oh nausea and we're gone
30 minute mark pretty much sums up the concept of Song Reader!
Morning becomes Electra!!!!!!! Now sing!
Shut up, fool. Becks the total package.
What year?
How long ago was this?
what kind of guitar does beck have?
Wow..... If you dont think beck is a second life of kurt cobain in this your insane.
SoySauce1992 Kurt cobain wishes that he was half the musician beck is.
SoySauce1992 no way
Kurt wrote great lyrics but never lived long enough for anyone to see him mature as an artist, so any comparison would be unfair.
As much as I love his stuff all the way up to mutations & Guero I just can't get in to his newer stuff. Especially that crap song "wow"... It's like he ran out of ideas.
It's hard enough to stay relevant when you get old, let alone when all your lyrics are utter nonsense.
Give me One Foot In the Grave any day. I'll pass on these recycled Soul Coughing songs.
