The candy craw is one awesome color, the first time I saw that color,I knew Bill Lewis hit a home run,so did the bayou blue craw, but they discontinued it, Bill Lewis needs to bring that color back big time!
@@MONSTERBASSco so now I'm more confused lol. I have been removing the front hooks on my lipless baits for this reason. So if I take any hook off should it be the back ?
@@upstatenybassmaster4211 Yeah, the front hook is the one you want to leave on - the front of the bait will act as the guard to protect the front hook. The back hook is typically the one that will snag on cover as you're fishing the bait. The blade will give the fish a target as well as create additional flash to draw strikes. Mark Daniels Jr. has a BassU discussion on this. Hopefully that helps!
Do you ever wonder why after 3+ years, you only have 412 thumbs up? Too much FACE IN CAMERA TIME.. Give us the Reader's Digest version of bait and tackle. Better yet, give it to us while casting. We can hear you without making us wait 4+ minutes for the first cast. Heck, talk non-stop, but put the camera on the water and fish. Too many beginner UA-camrs make the mistake of thinking w actually want to see YOU.

When i Drop My Trap to the Bottom I ALWAYS Get Grass and Muck on my Hooks.. How Do I Use Your "Drop Tenique" and Not Get Grass in my Hooks ?
Just bought that exact rat l trap yesterday
Luke Woods such a good trap!
Any tips on not getting hung up on the bottom so much in rivers ?
A unique trick is to take off the back hook to help it from getting hung up. You can add a swivel and a blade to add a little flash as well!!!
