Azhimala Siva statue is the tallest Siva statue in Kerala. Aazhimala is a beautiful place in Trivandrum and is famous for Azhimala Shiva temple and cliff beach. It has the Kerala’s tallest 58 feet Siva statue. The Artist of the statue is Devadathan and the statue and is constructed beautifully in 3D structure. As the name suggest Aazhi means sea, Mala means hill - this place is a meeting point of Sea and Cliff.The Azhimala Cliff serves as a splendid vantage point that offers panoramic views of the area. A leisurely stroll along the edge of the cliff allows you to enjoy these picturesque views, as you get pampered by the lulling sea breeze. Next to the cliff is the inviting beach that is more than ideal spot for leisure seekers and beach lovers. There is plenty of greenery around, creating a comforting and relaxing ambience There are rock and sand beaches at Azhimala and are too beautiful. There are parking lots available at temple for devotees. KSRTC buses ply frequent trips here from Trivandrum city.
