    In this video we use _π = 3.141592654_
    There are different variations of *π* you may use:
    Using _π = 3.14_ the answer is: *57876.48*

      Do you know that there is an invariable relationship between a cube and an enclosed sphere, where the side of the cube equals the diameter of the sphere? It is the number six divided by pi. I'll leave the math to you, but when you multiply the cube volume by 0.5236 you get the sphere volume. As a matter of fact, if you multiply the cube area by the same factor you get the surface area of the sphere. It so happens that the six (sides) of a cube divided by pi (6/pi) is 1.90986, and the inverse, (pi/6) is the factor 0.5236. Why isn't this taught as well?

    And the sphere surface area is - circumference times diameter, or (2 pie radius) (diameter)

    Not the one that I wanted, even an idiot can solve this problem for only and just using the formula. You are not using the basic concept, all I want is how did it come up like that, why is it supposed to be 4/3, why it should be r^3. Explain it.

    • @VividMath
      @VividMath  10 років тому +3

      The reason why we use 4/3 comes from differential calculus which is beyond the scope of this example. And r^3 comes from the fact that it is a 3 dimensional figure

    • @MakerJake101

      Use this formula to do it:
      Let's say 3/4 of 16
      A=16/4=4x3=12
      So 3/4 of 16 = 12
      The formula(f) is this:
      n = a number
      F=n/4x3=3/4n
      Take the number divided by 4 multiplied by 3 and that is 3/4 of that original number.
