That throw on the 2pt where he scrambled up in the pocket and threw cross-body was a very Rodgers-type throw. Great instincts, mobility, and pocket awareness. That's just ability...I'll take that with his inaccuracy issues because that can improve with just more time at the position.
Love has had a few throws that were off but he’s not “inaccurate “ a lot of that low completion percentage is receivers not hauling them in but they were on the money throws. Watch a little film.
He’s shown elite precision when he’s in rhythm and within the timing of the play. He’s a gunslinger so he will try to force things, and a lot of QBs in their initial starts get a little antsy mechanics wise which can lead to inaccurate throws-Rodgers went through it too. The deep shot needs to improve, from Love and the receivers running the routes-the Musgrave miss you can see he slows up and flattens the route a bit instead of keeping it more vertical.
I really wish players would stop making celebrations when they make a first down. Christ Almighty! You made a 1st down. Good. And? The best TD celebration to me is Barry Sanders handing the ball to a ref after his TD. Why? It's classy, it's telling the opposition (and his team), this is what I'm supposed to do. And I do. Catching or running for a 1st down? It's what you are supposed to do. I worked in a factory. Every time I made parts I was supposed to make? I whooped and danced, pointed at the break room and let everyone know that I am made those parts completely by myself.
I mean, obviously it was a great result, and there were a few fantastic offensive plays, but honestly the Saints threw it away with penalties and a missed FG.
That across the body while scrambling throw is just crazy. How can he see Toure there? That bomb to Reed, good job by the youngster to make that diving catch. That textbook back shoulder throw to Doubs. You think its Rodgers passing to Adams, so similar.
You guys were so negative about drafting Love instead of a rookie Wr. GM Ron Wolf philosophy was to take a QB if the opportunity arose. Rodgers greatly benefited sitting and learning a few years. This was one of the games before Jordan Love really put it together and you could see he had it in him to be good. Lot of early struggles but WOW by seasons end, that guy was a monster.
Lets not forget that if the NFL kicker the Saints have does not miss a 45 yarder for the win, all this means nothing. The Packers did not win this, the Saints lost it.
Packers D didn't allow a score in the second half. The only touchdown they allowed was on a short field. The other touchdown was on the punt return and then allowed a field goal. All this while missing key pieces on both offense and defense.
I’m sick with how Jordan Love throws the ball. And he’s got tremendous touch and major athleticism. He’s the real deal and he’s getting better . Just wow!
Craziest thing to me about this is if the saints would've made that last fieldgoal, the packers would have not only lost but wouldn't have made it to the playoffs to beat Dallas. Who knows what would've happened in that case...
Exactly I think he'll be his own man have his own tendencies but I do see him eventually being on par with the top guys in the league let's give it some time!
You tie and it just a 50 50 chance of winning in OT. Also give you the ability to tie with two field goals if you get two possessions. On top of you can still get a tie with a two point conversion if you miss. The odds of them went from a 11 percent chance of winning to a 16 percent chance of winning by going for two.
Yea? GB had 5 of their best offensive weapons out. Including one of the best LT in the league a long with one of the best CB in the league then they lost all pro LB Campbell in this game. You gotta have the next man mentality

I actually see a lot more mahomes in him than rodgers. (Still has a long way to go before he's that elite though)
Yep all good except his deep throws they are over and under thrown on a consistent basis if he can get those down at a high level he looks great
