Cows that old are often creatures of habit. She is a suckler cow so not like a dairy cow but either sort of cow get used to the routine of life and I think its almost a comfort to them. I used to look after cattle and they get used to their owner, the colour of their clothing, the way they walk. If a different person arrives in the field it disrupts them. Its odd how sensitive they are to little things.

Just before you said how much you love your job and why, I was asking myself why it is so interesting to watch videos of cow hooves getting cut?
And my answer was: because you love what you do, and you are transporting this love, the passion, the respect, the conciousness of your ability to help sore cows, the experience, the fun, the dirt and everything else in every video.
Thank you very much for being as lovely as you are! ❤

The past 4 years have been the worst time in my life, I was forced to work with super toxic people in a high stress environment. As a result I was wiped out every night when I got home. Your videos were always a welcome relief from that life and I can honestly say that they helped keep me going knowing that I had something to look forward too. I'm out of that situation now and doing much better in every regard. I am immeasurably grateful for you and the videos you make. Thank you.

Never did I imagine, that one day, I would find so much peace and comfort watching a total stranger in another country, tending to cow’s hooves. Sometimes my family members catch me watching these and they always say “What are you watching?!” There’s just something about watching you work that sits right in my soul. It’s such an honorable profession to give these sentient beings relief from pain. Cows are just big joyful toddlers, and I am so happy for them when they leave the crush lighter in spirit. And, with the understanding that you were doing your best to help them feel better. I used to work with a middle school girl that had autism. There was a dairy farm next to her house, and she always wanted to walk over and visit the cows. They would always approach her and let her pet them. It was almost as if they had their own secret understanding. Those cows would never let me get near them, not to mention touch them. I hope there is a place in heaven for cows, because they are such gentle and tolerant beings. They endure so much and mostly for the benefit of humans. If there is a cow heaven, I’m sure there is a picture of you there, and all of the kind farmers who did their best to give them some kind of peace. Thank you for your videos and sharing your knowledge. You make the world a better place. God bless xo

Reminds me of some horses hooves I’ve seen. Makes me wonder how they manage to walk, and the fact it doesn’t make them lame is amazing. I get a tiny rock in my shoe and I go mad. Thank you Graeme for sharing your wisdom on these beautiful cows.

Every time I watch your videos, my brain goes "cow hooves look like potatoes." Then it goes, "you're a musician, why are you watching hoof trimming videos." Then, after binge watching videos I've already seen, I realize that I am not watching hoof trimming videos. I'm watching a guy who loves his work, and his passion inspires me ... then I wonder why I'm still watching and I have to go back to my own passions. Keep up the great work Graham and crew!

I love that you all love what you do. Not everyone is that lucky and to live and work where you do is a bonus. On top of that you are making a difference one cow at a time. I'm in Australia and have lived in a rural area my entire life and i had no idea that cattle needed routine trimming. Maybe the climate makes a difference here 🤔 whatever, I just enjoy the videos.

Hello! I am 70 years(come August 😊) old. I know very little about cows/bulls, but they seem to have very gentle demeanors all most all the time. I find it so interesting how there are such differences between hoof care of cattle and horses! You and your team do awesome work and give so much relief to the cows you look after. And I can tell you all have so much support from your families. You are so lucky to live and work in such a beautiful country!! Blessings on all of you and your families.

Just as I was thinking how delicate and careful you are with the grinding, you get out huge pincers and start whipping off huge chunks of hoof! But it got her out of the crush quicker and also looked so careful, although not delicate! Well done you

Dear Harriet, you're a lovely lass. You're as patient and kind as you are beautiful. You stand so quietly in the crush. I feel you look forward to getting your pedicures The man who tends to your feet is called Graham and he's a pretty good chap. I watch him carefully. It's obvious he knows his stuff and truly cares about you and his other clients (cow clients, not human ones...but Harriet I think he likes the 2-leggers also). Hope to see you again next year.. Only the very best to you lovely girl. ❤🐄

Harriet the sweet 1/2 breed Hereford. One of my family members from generations back was named Hereford. I asked my cousin, (our family genealogist]. Why we were named after cows, it’s not very nice. He said, actually, the cows were named after us! Much better.
My grandmother decide later in her life that she wanted to be dairy farmer. My dad was a car guy, who took great care of his fancy cars. My grandmother ran her herd across the yard where my dad parked his car. One of the cows gave my dad’s car a huge swipe with her tongue. It left a huge mark. I thought my dad would have a heart attack. Fortunately not. And a very throughout wash and rubbing compound helped. My dad was always weary of those heiffers. 🤪
