Installed a new culvert pipe for a customer whose existing culver pipe that was under sized

We had a customer whose culvert pipe couldn't handle the volume of water in heavy rains and needed us to help save their crossing from getting washed away. We added a 48" culvert pipe and widened the stream at the mouth of the culvert pipes. We backfilled following manufacture compaction procedures and specs, then covered with the specified cover. We then added geotextile fabric and large rocks to protect against erosion. While the clay we used required more compaction, it was far superior to the existing soil used to backfill the old pipe. We repaired the old pipe and planted grass seeds to help protect against further erosion.
