    I’m a complete beginner at beading I’d never even heard of bead crochet until I came across your channel but they look so lovely I can’t wait to give it a try, I have had quite a few bags of tiny beads for a very long time not knowing what they were or what they were for, since watching your channel I now know they are size 15 seed beads, a bit small for a beginner. I am definitely going to give this a try but at 62 I think I may need to work with a magnifying lamp 🤣🤣🤣

    • @Danysska
      @Danysska 2 роки тому

      Working with size 15 beads is a real challenge! Just make sure you choose a very thin thread and a small hook :)

    How do I decide or figure out the kind of clasps to use for with the bead sizes?

    • @Danysska
      @Danysska 2 роки тому

      I usually decide when I've finished the product. It's not just the size of the beads that matters, but also the tightening of the thread, so I always adjust the clasp to the finished product so that the clasp fits nicely.

    • @Danysska
      @Danysska 2 роки тому +1

      No estoy seguro de entender del todo la pregunta, porque estoy utilizando la traducción automática. Sin embargo, intentaré responder a .... Para las cuerdas monocromáticas, no es necesario contar las cuentas, sino que se cuenta la longitud de las cuentas ensartadas en el hilo. Si estás tejiendo un patrón, el número de cuentas está determinado por el patrón. La cosa de madera se llama hilador de cuentas (bead spinner).

    I bought a beautiful beaded bracelet it had a magnetic clasp! I wore it for 10 minutes. I didn't realize it fell off. Gone! I played a lot for a bracelet I wore for a few minutes. Lost in the city.

    • @Danysska
      @Danysska 3 роки тому +1

      It also happened to me several times that my bracelet fell off, especially in cases where it got stuck while taking off my clothes. It is necessary to use a really good fastening with a strong magnet so that this does not happen. Or an even better option is to buy a safety magnetic clasp? They have a safety mechanism against opening. www.pandahall.com/p-413274-304-stainless-steel-magnetic-screw-clasps-column-magnetic-closure-stainless-steel-color.html

    I heard somewhere that you shouldn't use Delicas for bead crochet. Is this true? I have patterns that require several shades of the same color; a light pink to a very dark pink or purple for example and you just cannot get those shades in round 11/0 beads. I have a pattern for a coin purse that I created from an image and you just can't get that kind of detail without using Delicas. So I was wondering if its true, than would the reason be because it would be too stiff?

    • @Danysska
      @Danysska 2 місяці тому

      Hi, I've never heard of Delicas not being suitable for crochet. On the contrary... I use them very often and they are one of my favorite beads. Just be careful that the Delicas 11/0 are smaller than the round 11/0 beads, so you'll end up with a slightly smaller product - you may not get the clasps and such to fit. It's also better to use a thinner thread.

    Dobrý den, Danielo, když háčkuji dutinku do 10 korálků, použiji pevné oko, nad 10 krátký sloupek. Je to tak? Kdy použiji dlouhý sloupek, teda zda se u dutinek vůbec používá🤷‍♀. Děkuji

      Dobrý den, ano, tak nějak do těch deseti jde použít pevné oko, větší dutinky už se pak můžou jakoby lámat. Ale krátký sloupek klidně i třeba od sedmi, osmi korálků jde použít taky. Dlouhý sloupek se nepoužívá, bylo by mezi koralky vidět moc nitě.

    • @Danysska

      The larger the thread number, the thinner it is. In the case of yarn, on the other hand, the larger the number, the thicker the yarn. We need a relatively thin thread for bead crocheting, at least size 30. And as for the numbering of beads, common sizes are 6/0, 8/0, 10/0, 11/0, 15/0 .... so which size of beads do you use?
