VERY NICE, that van you got should be a winner. Have you ever bought and fixed a car and just said nah I'm going to keep it? i went on a Street Rat Garage binge last week and watched about 20 videos from your first one. Those Vics with 150k miles should sell for at least 5 to 7k? At least that what Mercury's and Town cars are selling for. Can't wait for your next video.
I have held on to a few longer than I should have so I could enjoy them.

I bet the 6.0 powerstroke needs a new low pressure oil pump.
The clearance is to big now and effects the oil from getting to the high pressure oil pump from operating the fuel injectors faster to start as normal.

I checked the website out and the vehicles in my city are trashed before they decided to get rid of them. Also bidding gets outrageous when auctions gets to the last day. I wish 1 was closer than 4 hrs to your area. I'm looking for a 2 wd Tahoe to customize
Just keep your eyes open. One will pop up. Sometime you have to drive a bit for a good deal. Make a family trip out of it.
Watch for bad trans on those Chevy express. Unless your buying just for the motor of course.

Leak in rear main seal and oil cooler lines. Paint missing from front bumper, rust on rear hatch door. Rust spot on driver side rear wheel well, and front hood edge. would you recomend this car for a women as a daily commuter price 3k.?

But I will answer your question this way.
The Tahoe is a very good SUV in my opinion. I really like the LS engine they have. They are comfortable to drive long distance and the large cargo area in the rear. If you can drive a pick up truck, you can drive one of these SUVs without any problem. The only drawback to these police versions are the fact that they are 2 wheel drive and not all-wheel-drive vehicles. So if you have difficulties driving a rear wheel drive vehicle in the snow, then you might want to look for an all wheel drive.
I watched this vehicle go through the online auction. The only reason I did not bid on this particular One, was the fact that at the last hour a note was posted that the vehicle would start with a jump, but needed work.

Hi Chuck. How did you flip the switch on the computer to deactivate the AFM on the 5.3 motor?
You need to plug a HP tuners device into the obd2 port then go into the computer and flip the virtual switch.
There are people on UA-cam, that explain how the procedure is done.

Yes, anyone can bid. I do not believe this particular website requires credit card information but I’m not 100% for sure.
Most that I use do require credit card information.

I'm a college student that's interesting in making a quick buck on buying these auction cars, what's the biggest advice you could give for me? Anything that i should be aware of before buying?
There is a lot you need to know.
You need to have some mechanical knowledge or take a mechanic with you. You need to know what the car will sell for in your area. This can be done by checking Facebook marketplace and searching for cars in the same condition with the same mileage.
Do you have to also understand that this is a gamble. You cannot check the cars out 100%. At most of these auctions you are not allowed to drive the car to check the transmission to see if it shifts. The car does not run long so you don’t know if it’s going to overheat or not.

Those econolines go for big money in Canada. I'd be shipping them north for sure. A beat to crap one with half a million miles still goes for like $12k USD.
And the crown vic was totally worth the 3k. Those things are quite desirable these days in that condition
