- Hey guys JWhisp here and welcome to the first episode of Better Minecraft! Better Minecraft is an epic modpack that adds over 150 mods to Minecraft! It still gives you the classic vanilla experience but better!

This modded series is inspired by Wadzee , Mythical Sausage , FWhip, notnotbrock and Farzy with their Hardcore Minecraft Series, as well as Grian and Mumbo Jumbo on Hermitcraft I like to make Giant Mega Builds , Automatic Farms , and Mining Videos. This is an Epic Minecraft Legend of JWhisp in a Modpack Let's Play!

protip if you're new to modded, pressing 'u' while you are hovering over an item in your inventory will show you it's "uses". Pressing 'r' while you are hovering over an item in your inventory will show you it's "recipes"

@@JWhisp you are most welcome!!! also, JEI is the list of items on the right when you bring up the menu. you can search it and hit r/u on those icons as well! just make sure your typing cursor is out of the search box! :)
Omg this was so helpful. I remember I learned something like this a long long time ago. Probs back like 5-6 years lol but I took a break from MC and completely stressed myself out about this when I started playing again with mods hahaha
Don't worry about being overpowered early. The mobs here are relentless and you'll need the best armour you can get. Trust me on that one

I'm pretty sure with this mod you can craft backpacks so you can hold more items. Also, if you're wanting to only chop one block of wood instead of the whole tree, you have to crouch 😊

the duck is a signature by the mod pack creator shrike, he has duck shrines by spawn in all worlds using his packs
they also have diamond blocks inside of them
as he should because ducks are v adorable. this pleases me.

OMG Yessss! This mod pack is the best. If you raid any new structures be prepared, there will be spawners everywhere so its okay to be op in beginning. So excited for this series! Love the little starter home too, flower beds are a beautiful touch. Just wait until you find all the varieties of flowers. Probably my favorite part. Only wish I could put them in flower pots

When you get the chance, totally raid a Pillager Tower, defend a town from a Raid, and find an Ancient City because if this mod does just all this with vanilla Minecraft, I can't imagine how much is added to the Ancient Cities!

@@JWhisp you can make a portal to a different dimension called "the otherside" theres a mod which makes the warden drop its heart along with armor/tool materials, the mods called "deeper and darker" also you can get dragon scales from the ender dragon that you can use to upgrade youre armor in a smithing table.

last i remember from better mc, the colloseum "boss" drops leather armor with like prot X, which you can pull from it onto a book with a grindstone and put on your own gear

Break the duck! Mine had diamonds in it! And I think taking the armor and stuff from the tent villages is important, you need it to be prepared for all of the craziness.
Also, look for cemeteries, and I'd make a backpack ASAP

If there are any custom achievements it would be nice to see you trying to accomplish some of them. Or if some of us viewers have any suggestions… I don’t know what mods are in this so can’t say what will be hard or easy to do.

What version are you playing on JWhisp? I mostly play V39 on Forge edition because It has the most mods I've ever seen (203), but it is a little tough to run. BetterMC is awesome I'm sure you will have tons of fun either way! Good luck!
If you had broke into the duck you would of found FOUR Diamond blocks ..
Inside that duck is 2 - 4 diamond blocks
