We're a certified organic produce farm in PA; mostly vegetables, including heirloom tomatoes, but also real blueberries in season. I want our customers to know about this, but, I feel this video is informative but too rambling for the casually curious organic customer. It is possible for you to make a 1 or 2-minute edit of the most salient points? Points such as (1) central point of "What does 'organic' mean and how allowing hydroponics in organic undermines soil-based farmers in the marketplace (I wish Dave had been more precise by saying "CERTIFIED organic" not just "organic" in this context from 6:35-7:57 (and I wish that at 7:17, Dave had said "...in the KNOWLEDGE that life.." rather than "...in the BELIEF that..."); (2) defining hydroponic v organic systems by their source of nutrients, as Dave describes in 8:39-8:53. So important to educate our customers. Thank you!

I believe in soil but I hope one day we can bridge the gap between soil and hydroponic. I think one way is by restricting hydroponic growers to using only natural compost tea like soluble fertilizers - no chemical solubles.

If you take everything out of a hydroponics greenhouse, lay down some peat moss and grow salinova lettuce ... how did things just get better?

    Nope… not at all.
