- I've added an IMSAI 8080 replica kit from thehighnibble.com to my collection of vintage computer replicas. Watch my video to learn more about the kit and to see a quick demo. I have several projects in mind for this and my Altair 8800 replica. I'd like to write my own version of FORTH or create some retro computer games. Keep checking back here if that sounds interesting to you.

Very coooooooool!
Thanks. I often wonder what a difference it would have made if I had managed to get my hands on one of these when they first came out.
So--this is the computer the kid from War Games hacked into everything with? Pretty interesting, by the way. I am readying "Fire in the Valley" and that brought me here.
However you found your way here, I hope you enjoyed my video. I am also a fan of that movie. :)
@@RetroRogersLab I was a computer nerd in the 80s--mainly Apple ][ and Commodore VIC-20 and 64. We computer nerds were few back then. Everyone in school asked me if I knew how to hack into the school computer and if I could do the stuff like in Wargames. Of course I said, "yes" lol.
@@MarvelousLXVII Back in the day I had a C-64 with two 1541s and the 1702 monitor. I eventually replaced it with a PC to play Wing Command.
@@RetroRogersLab Lol yeah Wing Command cost us all money (ram, sound card etc.) Hey were you in the BBS scene on the 64?
@@MarvelousLXVII I was on Quantum Link and helped a friend run a local BBS on a TRS 80. I also set up a corporate BBS at my job back then.
The room lights didn't dim when you turned it on ...
Yeah, I wish I had one that did that.
@@RetroRogersLab I "misremembered" ,,, It was a PDP-8 I was thinking of ...
