I tried doing this. but the numbers only got up to 34, and I kept tightening the tension knobs and it still wouldn't get past 34. What am I doing wrong???
@@MadeiraUSA What about corresponding bobbin thread? You said that your top and bobbin thead need to work together. If you're using a magnetic and it's set at around 22, would you still set the top at 170 for the Poly 40?

What is the optimal thread tension for polyneon?
170
In the directions it says wrap the thread around the holding pin two to three times
How to know which tension is best for which thread?

@@breakingitdown4you422
i have the same question.
@@marekmichalczyk7720 typically you set it 1:5 ratios. So if you do 170 on top, divide that by 5 and you'll get 34.
Do you thread the needle when measuring the Top Tension?
Yes you do! Through the needle and the presser foot.
Am I supposed to turn the knobs at the top of the machine near the thread holder or the knobs in the middle that you turn the thread 1.5 times around?
How to order ?
