To all the men out there. No matter how much you love a woman and she loves you. Don’t get married. It will all fall aport. I was married for 22 years retired army and kids the dog the pool the golf cart. When I retired the army she lost respect for me. We did not get along for years. Then we sleep in different rooms. No kissing no nothing. But hey don’t cheat right. So I did not cheat. I’m 53 years old now and my wife divorced me. I lived in my care for a few months. Now I have a studio apartment and I had to go back to work. Oh she got my military pension as well. I can’t even pay for food at times. But my job has food. Well I work at a prison. So I eat breakfast lunch and dinner after the inmates eat. Don’t get married men you will loose everything.
Everything is agreeable until one party talks to a divorce lawyer. Then the assets are divided 4 ways. Marriage is a horrible deal. No upside I can see and life destroying downsides. Marriage is understandable in decline.
we have a mortgage we have equity but I don't want her to buy me out I want to sell it. She cheated and doesn't deserve the house. So do I have to accept the buy out?
No, you don't necessarily have to accept a buyout if both of you are on the title of the house. You would typically each have equal rights to the property. However, this can depend heavily on the situation and the laws of your state. Consult with your attorney to explore your options further.
@@kengi1600 My husband wants me to buy him out as well. Was also a cheater who ended up beating me when I told him I wanted a divorce. Waiting on the home valuation in a few weeks. I’m the only one on the deed and title but makes no difference in NY.
Please help me: In our divorce settlement, we agreed to sell the marital home and she would have possession until it is sold. Now, neither of us wants to sell it. Can I move back home? I am so lonely and miss my family. I don't care if we're divorced. I will live in the basement.
@@JebSmith No, I have not tried that yet, but thank you for giving me hope. My heart is broken. This divorce should never have happened. There was no infidelity, abuse, etc. She started going through menopause and picked arguments with me and withheld sex. But I did not become violent. Her sister talked her into filing for divorce. March 1, 2024 is the date we are supposed to put our home on the market per court order. I am hoping that I will not hear from her. If March 2, 2024 rolls around, I will ask her again if she really wants to move out (she does not!). So, if she says no, I will ask to see the judge and see if I can move back home. If I can move back home, I hope we could reconcile or be nice to each other for a year or two, and rebuild our family. We have two very smart children. Otherwise, I do not know what to do.
Hopefully you’re able to answer my question. When a property is being sold due to divorce does the property have to be vacant? We found the perfect home but the seller is refusing to vacate the tenants in the property. Also the other issue is we are doing a VA loan. I would appreciate your input. Thank you 😊 I’m in So Cal
Here is how it works in Illinois. If a divorcing family has children, the house will go to the mother, along with the children. No judges will throw out a mother and child. Throwing out the father is all they ever do. The amount she has to give you is dependent on the judge. It might be nothing. Remember, they can deduct alimony from the mans home equity. Avoid all this - dont get married.
Yes, it's certainly possible to buy out a spouse over a period of time. This is often arranged during a separation or divorce. In this scenario, the spouse staying in the home would make payments to the other spouse until their agreed upon portion of the home's value has been paid in full. This would also typically involve refinancing the mortgage into the payer's sole name to release the other partner's liability. This arrangement could potentially be beneficial, especially if a child is involved, as it provides stability and continuity in their environment. Payout terms, amounts, and schedule would be items to discuss with a divorce attorney or mediator to avoid any future disputes.
Oh ye of little faith, a person's dream may be to live happily after with the one person you married, but in the process of time, a person can become so difficult to live with, like living with a Narcissist, and you have to make a decision, live in an unhealthy (physically, emotionally and spiritually) relationship for the rest of your life, or divorce and truly live in peace. If you live with a Narcissist you will never have peace. Just for your info. read, Hebrews 12:14. "...without peace no man (no one) will see the Lord. A Narcissist will always create tension, which is very stressful, why would you lose out on heaven by living in a stressful, chaotic negative life.

Yep......I've had 3 in the last 45 days, unfortunately.

Money wise, Is it better to sell before or after divorce gets file?

Fortunately most of my cases have gone fairly well but I've heard a bunch of stories where that's not the case.

Sorry to hear about your situation......I'm pretty sure you can discuss with your attorneys and have it changed. Have you tried that?

😂
Lmao come to an agreement with a soon to be ex wife . Good luck 😆
It's not easy but it makes for a much less expensive divorce for both parties.
Divorce is sin. Everything is temporary. Focus on eternal, lost souls
Agreed.
It's necessary sometimes and it's best.
