I see as this song as a couple who struggle with drug abuse. In the beggining the boy come back home and the girl notices he has some stuff with him. He denys it but the gurl know. When the first set of "nothing falls apart" come on, it's her trying to tell herself shes doent need to take the stuff and that nothing will fall apart but in yhe end she does. The second set if "nothing falls apear" is her feelinh regret.
