Long time no see, guys. I stayed at a unique hotel the other day and I've made a vlog about it. Hope you enjoy. By the way, I changed the channel name a bit. Oh don't worry, I'm not depressed, it's just a combination of the titles of my favorite books :) Crazy 2020 is almost over and I wish you all good health.
@@Lagspike99 Opportunity is often disguised as loss. I'm certain you will have other chances! You seem to have the best attitude...& this alone is a game-changer!! Best wishes!
Do not feel lonely, we really enjoy your videos. I hope you keep making more of them, I look forward to watching them to enjoy peace and tranquility during a busy day.
Time does fly. I am happy to see you are doing well and showing us beautiful villages like this. You are so right about how the village looks so different throughout the day. It gives you a different aura. The room was your personal historical mini museum 😊 I am happy to have come across your vlogs. With all that is happening I look forward to ending my day relaxed and virtual traveling. Thank you so much. 🥰 ⭐
The historic buildings & vibe reminds me of one of my favorite films..."The Twilight Samurai" a film by Yoji Yamada--& the wonderful main actors Hiroyuki Sanada & Rie Miyazawa. Thank you for your beautiful film & music, Ryo!!
Just caught up with this now.. but great to see this historic town shown in your quiet and detailed way. I'd love to have a quiet friend to tour Japan with some day.
The place looks so cozy, I sooo wanna visit Japan one day 🤩 Eh you're seeing me again cos I'm currently binge-watching your travel vlogs late at night before I sleep 🤣 Have a great Thursday!
I dont know why, whenever i see historic places like this in Japan, it made me wanted to ride a time tunnel that can travel back to those great day :D Also thanks a lot for your video content because you’ve give me an idea how to start my youtube content 😍 ありがとう。☺️
They should redesign their website to show which rooms and days are AVAILABLE. After trying 7 rooms and dates, I couldn't get a reservation so I gave up. Glad they are doing well!
It is really awesome that you can use very simple sentences in your videos. I gotta say, simplicity is the best after all. I am always in a tough spot when I want to write something. There is just always this feeling of needing to use difficult words to express my thoughts.
I miss the tatami. I miss its silky texture under my feet, its enchanting and subtle fragrance and I miss lying down on it when the sun rays warm it up just a bit. I envy you, “Sorekara” san. Urayamashii…
February 14, 2022 (& every February 14) in the US is Valentine's Day. We celebrate by giving special cards, flowers, gifts, chocolates, or other sweets to our loved ones & dear friends. It often includes going out to dinner or a favorite home-cooked meal. Wishing you a Happy Valentine's Day, Ryo!! ❤️
😆 I read your comment and I saw 👀 « bugs inside room » I hope 🤞 none when I go in Japan. I had cockroaches 🪳 in my room in Cuba 🇨🇺 once and it 😃🤣 was unpleasant especially if you are under the shower 🚿 Nipponia hotel has a special vibe, but a bit expensive. Mmm if you want French cuisine 🧑🍳 you must come to Paris (I live there) after the pandemic 😷
Love some of your trips to the historical buildings but being an older person any chance u slow down the views of the rooms, gardens etc - I get sea sick easy ... But love your work !
I have a question about wooden bathtubs, doesn't the wood crack as time goes by? Because wood absorbs water and water swollens the wood and damages the bathtub, doesn't it? How does this type of furniture gets protected from damage?
Tough question because “favorite things” and “things you can recommend to others” can be sometimes different, right : ) But well how about these. 1. "Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World” by Haruki Murakami 2. “No Longer Human” by Osamu Dazai 3. “Kitchen” by Banana Yoshimoto 4. “OUT” by Natsuki Kirino 5. “Convenience Store Woman” by Sayaka Murata Thanks for your comment. Hope you enjoy :)

And what are those books' names?:))
A cup of coffee, a good book and a nice couch - very far from melancholy I'd say.
This video helped me calm down the night before my interview for a new job.
How did the interview go?

How do they know if you touched those valuable antique books? Interesting, the more they tell me don't touch, the more I want to touch :-P
