Our young troops really enjoy their regular dose of Ranger Survival. I have one small problem. No parachute in the closet when I was asked to bring one out!
You're the bomb. That was quite cool. There's a certain efficacy to 10 survival skills in 10 minutes. No wasted talk, only clear demonstration with results.
@@BennyHill8844 I wouldn't doubt it. He doesn't sit and film himself playing video games, causing drama, creating controversy, or pranking people and being an idiot on camera. He's actually putting out good valuable information. Therefore YT doesn't like him and couldn't imagine other people being interested in learning something. 🤷♂
So thought provoking!!! Knowledge is power!!! I learn so many new things every week… Open a can with a spoon? I’ve never been the same since I learned about that hobo stove in your previous videos… Different ways of starting a fire… Making a teepee out of a parachute…. I doubt that I will ever find a parachute… however, it made me think… ~Anything we have can be utilized in a survival setting… Another excellent video, thank you Andrew… 🙏🏻😊💕
Sir, I've been watching your videos for a couple months. You and a couple others have taught and pushed me more than you know. Thanks for the information and your time. Please keep it keep. Thank you for your service also Sir.
Just a tip when using a magnifying glass to start a fire. To find the right angle I keep my back to the sun and look at my shadow while I line up my glass and tinder over my shoulder. Hope this is useful.
Right on Andrew, great video. I got my girls 12 and 9 watching you, then going outside and doing with me. I can't believe I forgot so much in 20 years. I guess it's true, "if you don't use it you lose it". Stay safe brother.
Thanks Andrew you were supposed to add a video last Sunday and I was expecting it since last week but no video so I was kind of down but thank you for posting this week's video I am a fan of you
Solid field survival techniques. Very practical knowledge. Reminded me of my Scout Ranger orientation course here in the Philippines back in 1982. Thank you Andrew. My snappy salute for you!
Ooorah keep doing what you doing brother keep your head on a swivel thank you for showing everybody the old school tricks for survival only God knows who's going to be able to survive through the tough times ahead of us all keep doing what you doing brother.
I've seen the coyote well a few times but you're the first one I've seen to recommend the layer of grass on top to pre-filter, that alone was worth the watch. Also if you collect the water with a bottle it's easy to filter with a piece of fabric held over the neck or secured with another cap that has the top cutout. Subscribed. God bless.
Congratulations on completing your course! Now about the video. Excellent as always! Always enjoy your videos and always walk away better trained for watching them. When I was in Air Force Survival school, we had to use the panel of a parachute to make an improvised sleeping bag as well. Keep up the great work and I hope we meet someday.
Proving once again major ,that you're one of the world's leading survival instructors . Much appreciated. Kind regards from england ...(that shithole where only criminals have guns )...
Good day Andrew, Like others have said" Congrats on your course completion and certification"!! I was taught the Fuel/Sand stove in the 80's by a WWII vet, and the flash light bulb he showed me how to use my SAK nail file to score the bulb, he was BAD @$$! Thanks for sharing your time with US.
Your 10 minute vids can be worth others’ of an hour. More people could follow your example, and not just survival vids. Another example of a Ranger leading the way. Potable water, fire, and Spam (my and the bears’ favorite) to eat as well supply a stove. 2 or more birds with one stone again. Well done!
Thank you for posting; I love watching the prac-app from the FM. Mil-craft at its best. Reminds me of hip pocket training with my NCOs. Love it, keep it coming. Semper
Watching your latest series of videos on survival gave me an idea that you would be the perfect teacher for. I've lost count of the stories about people getting lost (fishermen / hunters) without so much as a lighter. I was interested in the "water bottle survival kit" video and wondered about a small belt kit that would keep a person alive for three days (assuming they have the discipline to put it on their belt before leaving camp). Great content in your videos, keep them coming. Love your work.
Keep up the great work! You have come a long way in a short time! It's been great to watch you and your channel grow! Keep reaching for the stars, but keep yourself grounded!
I spent I don't know how many years working towards a chemistry degree, while actually doing outdoors things (before the days of my body trying to kill me), and I don't think I ever thought of or even heard of the Pot Per and Sugar trick. Now I don't know if I feel stupid or enlightened ;) LOL Good stuff!
Andrew, why couldn't you have been my Scoutmaster when I was in Scouting? You teach the actual practical outdoors skills that everyone should learn and know how to do. This is the kind of stuff I would have loved to learn when I was 10 to becoming a young adult. I really wish the "S" and "E" part could be taught by the military to the average person.
The Potassium Permanganate and Sugar Trick. Far Out! Thank You For Sharing.
thank you sir
Thanks again. Great lessons.
