Patty, I agree with you about the way you need to see what you have in order to use it. It is so strange, but my desk is set up similar to yours. I love having everything that I use all around me. If I have to go get something to use it, I know that I won't. I love everything to be out handy and within reach. I haven't ever seen anyone that organized their desk like I do. Also I have learned much about organizing from you. Thank you for sharing, being open and honest. I also am a stampin up demonstrator.

My space is a combination of your old and new. I need things near me when working.
First that I’ve heard Stamp N Storage has their products in white. They should have done that a long time ago! I have some of Stampin Up storage for my ink pads & blends.
I have numerous health challenges, so my craft room needs a ton of organized attention. Not sure when it will happen, but it is what it is! I have too much stuff!

I ALSO HAVE AN ELECTRIC ONE LIKE YOURS, BUT MINE IS WHITE AND BOUGHT IT ONLINE WITH SIZZIX. AND I WILL BE PURCHASING A STAMPIN'IN EMBOSS AND CUT MACHINE, SINCE MY OLD BLACK AND PINK SIZZIX HAND CRANK MACHINE IS WEARING DOWN.
Patty -Your space looks very nice. I am sure you will enjoy your happy creative place to create more beautiful cards . I have their stamp storage unit & 2 punch storage units. They are just wooden not painted. But I enjoy them & they are nice & great quality . I am sure you will enjoy your coloring techniques in your adjusted space. yes, I always disliked touching the inky part, so I put them upside down so I can just stick my finger in them :)

I just bought some Stamp n Storage. I love it. I also ordered the Dream Cart 2. I have not received it yet, But I am excited to get it soon. Love your room.
I do like the white, very bright and clean looking. I just bought the new "super ink pad storage" that holds the ink pads, markers, reinkers, and blends all in one. I thought about getting the white, but I have a can of white paint and will probably just paint mine when the weather in Texas isn't quite so hot. The organization looks great, even in a small space. I simply need to clean out a lot of retired paper and stamp sets. Great job, Patty!
I actually just got that one right before they offered white, so I spray painted it white.. turned out great!

Do not take the shelfs out before you paint I learned that the hard way

Love the white. I love how you organized your space. I too like things in arms reach but I have a computer on my desk as well that takes up a lot of space. I may have to find a new home for it.
I have a separate computer office where I edit photos, blog, post to social media, answer emails, send out catalogs, prizes, gifts, etc. If my space were large enough I'd have it all together.

Glad you liked it too!! The countertop I use for my desk was being tossed out by a company years ago. It's about 7' long. I love it!

Patti, is there anything behind your storage units? I know you're in your loft so not sure if it's wall area or open. I'm looking at putting units on a long table in middle of room, so no wall. I need things close to me, too.
There is a railing behind my Stamp-n-Storage units that "looks over" the stairwell.

I love the white too, but were the ones you had not paintable?
I actually did try painting one of mine, and it turned out ok.. but took a long time (lots of coats) and I was worried that it might not be as durable as the way they paint them.
@@pattystamps ah gotcha, that makes sense. That's a lot of time and supplies for it not to last too. I e enjoyed seeing some of your organization ideas. I'm a frequent flier of TJ Maxx. I do want to try those die magnet boards and tabbed holders!
Where did you get the lipstick holder for the daubers? I can't find one that big

Why do you keep some stamp sets in front of you and others on the shelf. If all were on the shelf it would clear more space on your desk
Oh sorry.. thought I explained that in this video.. maybe it was in a different video.. I keep the new sets in front of me to use them first, and after I've used them for some time they go behind me.
