if my memory serves me right, for trick dodge you'll need to >>> lock-on to a target + Left / Right Directional Button + Jump. And only in DT form you can do the trick dodges.
@@senexiar yeah something like that. In dmc 5 the way he holds it has huge advantages in means of combat irl because you won't have to perform a lot of poses to sheathe and unsheathe.
The creative answer would be that he holds the blade down like a Tachi due to the fact that the Yamato is quite a bit bigger than the average Katana, closer in size to the aforementioned Tachi. The realistic answer is more along the lines of it being an error that was eventually fixed.
@@zesork5627No that's not the case. It's because Vergil is younger in DMC4 and DMC3, in 5 he's near mastered the Yamato and which katana style form he needs to use.

@sulthanarya3281 dmc 4 is a faster game,while 4 vergil has some things removed which are in 3 and 5 he has the most complex and satisfying trick mechanics and his moveset flows much faster and better than 5 I cant really show it but just look at how fast you can cancel kick 13

For the S-SS-SSS Taunt 1. Yes, it can to do a small and continuous damage.
You can hold enemies on top of it and they bounce over and over on it too!
