What I always think is whenever the younger generation has kids and looks at the Thomas c2s or 2020 Bluebird vision they will probably say man that bus is so old I am glad we have this hightech self driving employed with airbags TVs in the seat and no bus driver bus.
Watching this video really opens my eyes at how big the Gilligs are that I drive. The only buses we have with an ISB are the 2 hybrids and even those engines look much bigger compared to this video.
Hello Matt and fellow commenters. This bus model is the bus I would like to purchase in the near distant future. I want to turn it into a RV/Skoolie. I currently get around using a power mobility chair. My wish bus is flat nose, rear engine automatic, air suspension, extended ceiling height and a wheelchair lift mounted in the middle of the bus. 30-35 ft in length. in my surfing the web i see RE buses but not Handi bus style. Here is a question how to search for Handicapped accessible A3RE Bluebird All American and find them.
My daily bus is an 02 A3 RE with the CAT 3126B diesel, FL specs. For some reason, it has the newer style mirrors and everything else, but the old crossviews like on this bus. Not sure why.
+Mike Peterson Jr. (mitsumivec4life) Haven't done anything to it. Started it a few times, drove it around the yard a few times. I'm getting a set of tires together to put on it. The drive tires on bus 1^ are actually the tires that were on it- I took them off to put on the aluminum rims and put on new drive tires. There are plans to put a video together on that when its done.
I've would like to paint that bus white with Satan bumpers customized the seats fix the problem areas put the destination sign up top and put the Detroit diesel engine 6v92 or 8v92 TA anolog or DDEC engine with the ht 740 - 748 Allison automatic transmission if it was my bus you should keep this bus and customized the seats to match the color of the bus
That is a flippin' awesome Blue Bird. Especially the wheel chair lift! I really like the air door as well.

That bus looks suitable to make a motorhome😎
I 've ridden in a bus with an air operated door like that. I like that though Matt.
I used to ride a bus just like this one. Had an electric jackknife door and everything but just newer.

Nice bus... Runs Quiet but it should have had more then one space for Chairs...
I love that air door!
cool its air operated door
Surprisingly they don't break easily either.
Same.
I went on a field trip in 2014 and I rode a 2002 bluebird All-American Fe with that exact same engine
I prefer the all American be an FE and manual door with a light monitor. This are my favorite and a cat engine.
That is a nice engine!
God I would love to own this. I need a bus in my life. My crown vic is lonely.
CallMeTB . . . you could make it so you Crown Vic fits inside the bus the all go for a ride! Tru happiness!
I wish you did more video like you use to and this is the quiet school bus of a a3
Thank you for the ride
It’s strange that it has jack knife doors. I once rode in a BlueBird All American with these doors.
That is one sweet bus
This looks interesting

wow that engine is small compared to the dart fixed route bus engines in Delaware.
Best Bus Channel Ever!!!!!
I have wanted to buy a bus when I get old enough, but in Michigan do you need a CDL? Or did you not need one for the bus?
A blue bird all American with a jacknife door you don't see a lot of those most of the all Americans I saw had outward opening doors
Love it
I written that bus before when i my class went on a field trip
New video yes!!!!
Matt, any updates on your 2002 Blue Bird All American RE, not the red bus but the yellow one? Let me know when you respond. Thanks, man!!

Can I have that bus? I will trade you a 2004 bluebird all American for that one.
This one is long gone and somewhere in Minnesota.
okay the bus looked really handy plus you would have liked the 2004 all American.
Can I just say for the record the if it was a three wheelchair then it would be a 56, am I right?
matts4290 are you going to do bus startups including the hdx and how’s the Roslyn bird doing (the 1998 one)
No.
